Vacatia is reinventing the vacation ownership and rental experience across discovery, booking, and stay. Behind the scenes, Salesforce plays a critical role in supporting our teams, workflows, and customer experiences — and we’re looking for a Salesforce Administrator who knows how to balance flexibility, scalability, and sanity.
In this role, you’ll own and evolve our Salesforce environment, partner closely with business stakeholders, and ensure the platform remains intuitive, secure, and sustainable as Vacatia continues to grow. You’ll advocate for best practices, protect the admin role, and help the organization do more with less complexity.
Platform Ownership & Enablement
Own Salesforce configuration across page layouts, flows, permissions, and automation
Translate business requirements into scalable, user-friendly Salesforce solutions
Thoughtfully push back when someone insists their 47-field page layout is “absolutely necessary”
Maintain platform usability while balancing business urgency and long-term maintainability
Automation & Data Management
Build and maintain robust automation using Flow Builder, including screen flows and scheduled flows
Manage data imports, updates, and integrity using Data Loader, Import Wizard, and ETL tools
Ensure data quality, consistency, and governance across the platform
Security & Access Control
Design and maintain Salesforce security using profiles, permission sets, sharing rules, and OWD
Lead and advocate for best practices around migrating from profiles to permission sets
Ensure appropriate access while protecting sensitive data
Continuous Improvement
Stay current on Salesforce releases and evaluate new features for potential adoption
Proactively identify opportunities to streamline processes and reduce technical debt
Participate in the Salesforce ecosystem (Trailblazer groups, Dreamforce, community learning)
Required
3–5 years of hands-on Salesforce Administration experience (real-world execution, not certifications alone)
Salesforce Administrator Certification (ADM-201)
Strong proficiency with Flow Builder (screen flows and scheduled flows)
Experience with Salesforce data tools (Data Loader, Import Wizard, or third-party ETL)
Solid understanding of Salesforce’s security model (profiles, permission sets, sharing rules, OWD)
Clear opinions and experience implementing best practices for permission-set–driven access
Ability to build reports and formulas that are clear, logical, and easy to understand
Strong communication skills — especially when explaining why a request may not be the right solution
Experience with, or willingness to become proficient in, Git and GitHub
Preferred
Advanced Administrator Certification (ADM-211)
Experience with Service Cloud and Experience Cloud
Familiarity with AppExchange managed packages and their quirks
Basic understanding of Apex and Lightning Web Components (enough to read and troubleshoot)
Experience supporting a multi-org or enterprise Salesforce environment
Background in hospitality, real estate, or subscription-based business models
Competitive salary commensurate with experience
Fully remote work environment (with occasional travel for team gatherings)
Health, dental, and vision insurance
401(k) with company match
Generous PTO policy
Professional development budget for certifications, conferences, and courses
A Salesforce team that respects, defends, and protects the admin role
