Civil Engineer
We’re looking for motivated and capable Civil Engineers to join our high-performing Civil team in Adelaide. You’ll contribute to the delivery of complex and meaningful infrastructure projects across Defence, Transport, and Buildings, working alongside experienced technical specialists and project leaders.
This role is ideal for engineers who have developed a solid technical foundation, are confident delivering packages of work independently, and are ready to take the next step in responsibility and project ownership.
The Opportunity:
As a Civil Engineer, you’ll support and contribute to the planning, design, and delivery of multidisciplinary civil infrastructure projects. You’ll collaborate closely with senior engineers, designers, and project managers, gaining exposure across all stages of project development while continuing to build your technical and leadership capability.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Deliver civil engineering designs, analyses, and technical documentation.
Perform engineering calculations, modelling, and reporting with guidance from senior team members.
Coordinate with internal disciplines and external stakeholders to support integrated project delivery.
Assist with design reviews, planning activities, and project decisions.
Support proposal development, bids, and technical submissions where needed.
Contribute to design assurance, safety, and quality processes.
Participate in site visits, meetings, and inspections as part of project delivery.
Continue growing your technical expertise with support from mentors and professional development programs.
What You’ll Bring:
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
Proven experience delivering civil engineering design and documentation across infrastructure projects.
Strong understanding of Australian Standards and relevant industry practices.
Solid technical skills in analysis, modelling, and design.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage confidently with stakeholders.
A proactive approach to quality, safety, and continuous improvement.
Working toward, or interested in pursuing, Chartered status (CPEng), supported by KBR.
Australian Permanent Residency or Citizenship (Preferred for Defence related projects).
