The Team
Oracle's Global Licensing and Advisory Services (GLAS) - is a customer-facing licensing and investment support organization that incorporates the critical areas of end-to-end value, customer experience, and industry best practice, to manage change and ensure the best outcomes.
The Role
We are looking for a driven intern that will be part of our GLAS Decision Science team. You will have the opportunity to work on real projects from day one, gaining a breadth of experience.
The role will provide an opportunity to participate in various projects and exposure to various groups within the GLAS team. The projects will range from analyzing business data and financial information to help understand the health of the business to translating complex information into material that users can easily read and understand, leveraging the use of graphics, design elements and business intelligence tools. The intern will also have an opportunity work with the GLAS field teams, GLAS Operations teams and within the broader GLAS Decision Science team.
Responsibilities
Objective Minimum Qualifications
- Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Management, Data Science, or related discipline
- Strong Excel and BI tools knowledge
- Strong data analytical skills
- Demonstrate an analytical and systematic approach to problem solving
- Ability to relate smaller concepts to the overall "big picture"
- Self-starter and detail oriented
- Strong oral and written English communication skills
- Ability to troubleshoot and problem solve
- Goal oriented and capable of completing projects on time with minimal supervision
- Good interpersonal skills and a team player
- Experience with Data visualization tools; Tableau, Power BI, Oracle Analytics, etc.
- No visa sponsorship is available for this position.
Preferred Qualifications
- Machine Learning or AI skills is a plus
- Coding experience in Python or R is a plus
- 0-2 years of related experience
Qualifications
University students. Preapproval from HR required.
