Description:Lockheed Martin is seeking a Strategic Analyst intern to join a dynamic, high-performing team. The selected candidate will use systematic, science-based techniques, analytical methods, simulation, and critical thinking to inform and improve decision-making processes. This position will require frequent collaboration with team members and engineers in other disciplines. As part of the Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control Strategic Studies Group team, this candidate will participate in market assessments, threat analysis, and budgetary assessments to help shape and influence future capabilities of the warfighter. These efforts help shape the strategic direction and investments of Lockheed Martin.
Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
• Research on threats, economy, competitors, and budget profiles
• Applying engineering-based techniques, problem-solving methods, and critical thinking
• Researching and learning military systems, military operations, and military tactics
• Developing AI leveraged databases, papers and presentations for utilization across the company
• Participating in research efforts and learning analytical techniques with research methodologies.
• Applying decision analysis methods to evaluate current and future programs
Basic Qualifications:• Pursuing a technical bachelors or masters degree to include but not limited to mathematics, engineering (aerospace, electrical, systems, software), computer science, or related discipline
• Strong technical writing and presentation skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Desired Skills:• Understanding of and/or applied the use of Artificial Intelligence in technical writing, research, and analysis
• Familiar with military organizations, structure, and warfighter CONOPS

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
