Active and existing security clearance required on day 1Collins Aerospace is looking for an experienced Contractor Special Access Program Security Officer (CSSO) to support our Special Access Program (SAP) in Sterling, VA. The ideal candidate will manage security administration and ensure compliance pertaining to the SAP program with strict adherence to 32 CFR Part 117 (NISPOM), SAP Manuals, IC Directives, and IC Program Guides. Strong program security experience with multiple customers is required to understand the complexities of each customer and their unique protocols.
This role requires the ability to foster strong relationships with internal and external partners, act as a trusted resource for program teams, be responsible for the management of accredited SAPFs, manage all security aspects of classified government contract programs and operations, lead self-inspections and security education programs to ensure security compliance, and work to determine a mitigation strategy for any instances of non-compliance.
This is an onsite position in Sterling, VA
What YOU will do:

Oversee daily security operations and ICD compliance for a secured facility.

Investigate and submit security violations and incident reports as needed by applicable government directives.
-
Prepare facility for required annual audits/vulnerability assessments conducted by multiple government agencies.
-
Coordinate, conduct, and implement annual security education and training per customer requirements and company policy.
-
Train and orient employees in security policies and procedures to ensure compliance with government and customer regulations.

Maintain a relationship with multiple government agency representative(s), prime contractors, subcontractors, CPSO’s, and ISSM’ s.

Maintain personnel security records within USG and Collins Aerospace requirements.

Maintain accountability and control of classified documents, COMSEC material and equipment.
-
Conduct secure equipment and classified material inventories, inspections, and other COMSEC related support and oversight.

Administer an inventory and document control program to account for Top Secret equipment and material.
-
Administer security briefings, debriefings, and any additional required briefings.

Develop and implement Concept of Operations (CONOPS), Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), and local security directives.

Apply mitigation policies and procedures to minimize incidents.

Maintain data compliance in DISS, NBIS, SIMS, and JADE accounts.

Prepare incoming and outgoing visit requests.
Qualifications YOU Must Have:
-
Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience.

U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Must have a Secret Security clearance prior to start date.

The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued Top Secret security clearance and additional program special access.

Experience with DISS and NBIS.
-
Detail oriented, well organized, and able to multi-task while handling competing priorities and deadlines.

Experience working with different DOD and/or IC Agencies.
-
Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite to include Word, Excel, Teams, etc.

Experience in writing and reviewing DD Form 254 at all levels (from proposal to close out) to identify security requirements and ensure compliance.

Experience reviewing all security documents to include SOP, CONOPS, PAR, PSQ, SF-86, and security processing packages for accuracy and completeness.

The salary range for this role is 118,300 USD - 224,900 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
