Truck Driver – Local/Regional/Tanker/OTR
Duties:
- Safely operate a tractor-trailer
- Transport goods and materials to designated locations
- Follow all traffic laws and regulations
- Inspect vehicles and trailers before and after each trip to ensure they are in proper working order
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries and pickups
- Communicate with dispatch to receive instructions and updates on routes
- Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding safety and delivery protocols
Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a truck driver
-Must have tanker endorsement
- Experience with route driving and delivery operations
- Familiarity with various types of trucks, such as tanker trucks and tractor-trailers
- Experience with refrigerated trailers and dry vans preferred
Skills:
- Valid CDL (Commercial Driver's License)
- Clean driving record with no major violations or accidents
- Ability to operate trucks safely in various weather conditions
- Strong communication skills to interact with dispatch, customers, and coworkers
- Excellent time management skills to meet delivery deadlines
- Physical stamina to handle the demands of long-haul driving
