What You'll Be Doing
- Lead sourcing, contract development, and negotiation activities for assigned categories.
- Drive process improvements in procurement, contract management, and supplier performance.
- Build strong internal partnerships to ensure alignment, training, and high-quality service delivery.
- Apply competitive bidding practices and support ethical, compliant procurement activities.
- Manage supplier relationships to optimize cost, quality, service, and availability.
What We Are Looking For
- University or college degree in a technical, economic, financial, or business-related field. Experience in a related field may substitute for a degree.
- Demonstrated experience in procurement and contract management within manufacturing, production, and/or construction environments.
- Ability to lead category strategies, manage supplier relationships, and support performance improvement initiatives.
- Strong communication and collaboration capabilities with the ability to influence across teams.
- Proficiency with procurement systems and tools, including SAP ECC 6.0 MM, Ariba, and MS Office; interest or experience in e‑procurement and electronic bidding.
Work Environment
This role supports a dynamic procurement function within a manufacturing and construction materials environment and includes periodic travel to supplier sites and regional operations.
