HP NonStop System Analyst
What does a successful HP NonStop Systems Analyst at Fiserv do?
The primary focus of the role is to ensure operational resilience and the correct configuration of the NonStop infrastructure that supports critical services in Latin America. They work in collaboration with infrastructure and operations teams in Argentina and Brazil, participating in performance improvements and high-impact incident resolution to ensure service continuity.

What you will do:
- Manage the operation and configuration of NonStop (Guardian) systems and associated utilities (XPNet, Backbox, DRNet).
- Analyze and support ISO 8583 transactional messaging and its security configuration (TLS).
- Monitor, tune, and optimize system performance and platform parameters.
- Coordinate critical incident analysis, perform root cause analysis, and propose remediation measures.
- Drive automation and operational improvements to optimize resource usage.
- Participate in deployments, migrations, and changes with a focus on operational continuity.
What you need
- Experience in systems operation and configuration, specifically focusing on the support of HP NonStop systems, XPNet, Backbox and DRNet.
- Knowledge transactional communication with ISO 8583 messaging, including security configuration TLS.
- Understanding and direct experience with HP NonStop Guardian, and relevant utilities.
- Experience in monitoring and tuning system performance.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Experience in improving the performance of NonStop systems, System parameters optimization, resource utilization analysis, and the successful implementation of system enhancements.
- Ability to participate in an on-call rotation providing high-quality customer service.
- English speaking fluent
What would be ideal to have (desirable):
- Portuguese language skills (conversational) to collaborate with teams in Brazil.
- Experience in the card business (issuing and/or acquiring).
- Relevant technical certifications (e.g., NonStop, ITIL, cloud).
- Experience in migrations, automation, and scripting/automation tools.
- Availability for on-call rotation and working with distributed teams in Latin America.
