The Regional Demand Planner is responsible for the demand planning process for their regional business, supporting the monthly forecasting cycle and Integrated Business Planning (IBP) process with the required collaboration and metrics to develop an accurate monthly consensus forecast. The Demand Planner will maintain close relationships with customer facing functions to understand underlying demand trends and insights around market intelligence. They will drive alignment to the monthly forecast through market demand review and support communication of the demand plan and insights through the Organization.
This individual will serve as a leader in the Americas Planning organization, partnering with business partners to collect, analyze, consolidate, and report data and insights to improve the decision-making process and drive process maturity and forecast accuracy improvement.
Knowledge Skills and Capabilities:
- Ability to develop, coach, and lead strong collaborative teams in the execution, strategies, and realization of departmental and company goals.
- Ability to communicate information and insights clearly, making the complex clear and compelling to all levels of the organization in both written & oral forms.

Supply Chain Demand Planning – Forecasting, Analytics, and Insights
- Leads demand planning teams to achieve expected forecast accuracy (MAPE, BIAS) through demand sensing and shaping, considering statistical models and market intelligence (customer events, market events, and lifecycle management) and Forecast Value Add (FVA) performance.
- Supports SKU disaggregation through review and collaboration on SKU proportions.
- Measures, tracks, and reports forecast accuracy and corrective actions to drive improved outputs based on knowledge of forecasting methodologies, statistical modeling, and best practices.
Demand Validation and Handover
- Partners and plays the role of gatekeeper with marketing/commercial partners to have the most accurate Demand information available as input to the IBP process.
- Consolidate and aggregates demand plan to support transparency of demand signals with key stakeholders including leading market demand handover. Understand key drivers of month-to-month changes, significant trends, upcoming events (NPIs, discontinuation), and performance to plan.
- Provides necessary data and analytics to support clear discussion and communication of risk and opportunities through the IBP cycle.
- Responsible for maintaining senior leader engagement in IBP to ensure timely decision making.
Demand Planning Maturity
- Develops a culture of accountability around maintaining key supply chain inputs (both within planning and with other key functions) that reflect actual performance as it exists in the current state
- Develops and leads implementation of supply chain planning process to further improve the supply chain and drive enhanced planning maturity
- Conducts analytics to address business problems with an end-to-end mentality.
Qualifications
Education:
- A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent University degree is required. MBA or equivalent preferred. Green Belt Six Sigma Certifications & Supply Chain Certification (APICS/IBF) preferred.
Required
- A minimum of 4 years of professional work experience
- Experience with Supply Chain, Commercial/Marketing or Finance
- Demand Planning experience
Preferred
- Experience with ERP (SAP) & Advanced Planning Systems (OMP) is preferred.
Other:
- May require up to 20% domestic and/or international travel to other sites and locations

The anticipated base pay range for this position is :
$94,000.00 - $151,800.00

Subject to the terms of their respective policies and date of hire, employees are eligible for the following time off benefits:
Vacation –120 hours per calendar year
Sick time - 40 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Colorado –48 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Washington –56 hours per calendar year
Holiday pay, including Floating Holidays –13 days per calendar year
Work, Personal and Family Time - up to 40 hours per calendar year
Parental Leave – 480 hours within one year of the birth/adoption/foster care of a child
Bereavement Leave – 240 hours for an immediate family member: 40 hours for an extended family member per calendar year
