Purpose:
This individual will be responsible for thedevelopment of next-generation electrophysiology (EP) cable, patch, and connector systems, supporting the advancement of Pulsed Field Ablation (PFA) catheter technologies. The role involves working on high-density, mixed-signal connectors and cables in constrained mechanical spaces, requiring innovative design thinking and strong collaboration across cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and support innovative cables for EP catheters, capable of carrying multiple signal types (e.g., RF, High Voltage, sensing, stimulation, thermocouple).
Modify and approve engineering drawings and process instructions for cables and connectors.
Collaborate with electrical, systems, and R&D teams from concept through production.
Participate in design reviews, brainstorming sessions, and technical discussions emphasizing Design for Manufacturability concepts.
Work closely with external partners to develop efficient manufacturing processes, lead DFM feedback, and ensure manufacturability.
Develop and implement manufacturing V&V for new cable and connector designs.
Support lifecycle engineering changes, root cause analysis, and implement improvements.
Drive cost reduction and quality improvement initiatives with suppliers.
Ensure all documentation (e.g., drawings, BOMs, test reports) is complete and aligned with internal standards and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or other relevant Engineering (required).
Proficiency in SolidWorks for 3D modeling and 2D drafting. (preferred)
3+ years of experience in mechanical or electrical engineering; preferably in medical devices or high-reliability cables.
Experience with cable assemblies, connector design, and electromechanical systems. (preferred)
Familiarity with GD&T, DFM/DFA, and tolerance stack-up analysis. (preferred)
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. (required)
Excellent communication and organizational skills.

The anticipated base pay range for this position is :
$79,000.00 - $127,650.00
Additional Description for Pay Transparency:
Subject to the terms of their respective plans, employees are eligible to participate in the Company’s consolidated retirement plan (pension) and savings plan (401(k)).
Subject to the terms of their respective policies and date of hire, employees are eligible for the following time off benefits:
Vacation –120 hours per calendar year
Sick time - 40 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Colorado –48 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Washington –56 hours per calendar year
Holiday pay, including Floating Holidays –13 days per calendar year
