Description:You will be the Field Service Representative (FSR) for the U.S. Marine Corps HIMARS/MLRS Team at our Fort Bragg, NC hub. Our team delivers world class sustainment, fault isolation, and rapid repair for the HIMARS and MLRS weapon systems, ensuring decisive fire support for warfighters everywhere.
What You Will Be Doing
As the FSR you will be the frontline technical expert who keeps HIMARS platforms mission ready. You’ll diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical subsystems while collaborating closely with the customer to uphold Lockheed Martin’s reputation for excellence. This role requires flexibility to deploy to OCONUS sites and, when needed, to combat zones.
Your responsibilities will include:
• Perform detailed fault isolation, diagnostics, and corrective actions on HIMARS/MLRS hardware.
• Execute maintenance, repair, and overhaul of electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical components.
• Serve as the primary Lockheed Martin representative on site, maintaining a professional, positive attitude.
• Build and sustain strong relationships with Marine Corps customers and maintain clear communication of technical status.
• Travel domestically and internationally, including war zone deployments, to provide on site support.
• Complete post offer, pre employment physicals and obtain an interim Secret clearance within 90 days of hire.
• Secure a valid U.S. passport within the first 60 days of employment.
• Document all actions in accordance with Lockheed Martin and government standards.

This position is in Fort Bragg, NC.
MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a secret clearance.
Basic Qualifications:
• Troubleshooting: Diagnosing faults in electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems.
• Repair & Replacement: Fixing or replacing faulty assemblies, modules, and cables.
• Maintenance: Performing unit-level to Depot level maintenance on launchers (M270, HIMARS), knowledge on test equipment, and ability to use training devices.
• Documentation: Completing maintenance forms, logs, and records. A working knowledge of Microsoft products.
• Technical Skills: Working with schematics, wiring diagrams, and specialized test equipment like the IETM.
• Quality Assurance & Safety: Conduct functional tests and post repair verification to ensure compliance with performance specifications and safety standards. Identify and report non conforming conditions; recommend corrective actions to senior leadership and engineering support.
Desired Skills:
• Logistics & Supply Support: Coordinate the requisition, receipt, and inventory control of spare parts, repair kits, and test equipment. Serve as a point of contact for export/import of critical support items when supporting forward deployed units or allied partners.
• Security Clearance: Active Secret clearance (or ability to obtain one within 90 days.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to lift ≥ 55 lb, work in confined spaces, and operate at heights as required by launcher maintenance.
• Liaison & Training: Coordinate and conduct briefings with senior levels of unit command and lower levels of unit personnel to include hip pocket training of the HIMARS fire control system. To represent Lockheed Martin and the LCLS Program as the Subject Matter Expert’s in the right choice for logistics and sustainment support.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
