Senior Engagement Director
What does a successful Senior Engagement Director do?
As a Senior Engagement Director, you align sales commitments, delivery execution, and operational readiness for an enterprise Fiserv client. You will partner with product development, operations support, and infrastructure leaders to define the end-state vision and roadmap, orchestrate multi-workstream delivery, and serve as the primary escalation contact to ensure outcomes meet scope, schedule, cost, quality, and contractual commitments.
What you will do:
- Own end-to-end delivery for complex, multi-product client programs, from mobilization through go-live and stabilization, ensuring delivery to scope, schedule, cost, and quality.
- Define and gain alignment on program approach, end-state vision, roadmap, and success measures; establish baseline plans and governance.
- Lead cross-functional coordination across business analysis, project management, development, testing, infrastructure, and operations in a matrix environment to drive outcomes.
- Build and maintain executive-level client relationships; act as the single point of escalation during implementation to achieve referenceable results.
- Align proposals, contracts, scope, and billing with the delivery plan; run governance, steering forums, risk/issue management, dependency management, and change control.
- Integrate product development, operations support, and infrastructure stakeholders to ensure readiness for cutover and seamless transition to operational support.
- Drive continuous improvement and organizational change to increase predictability, throughput, and value realization across programs.
What you will need to have:
- 8+ years of experience in program management within professional services or software delivery leading large-scale, multi-product implementations and software development projects.
- 8+ years of experience leading complex enterprise programs that include software development, systems integration, and data conversion.
- 8+ years of client-facing experience engaging executive stakeholders, setting expectations, and resolving escalations in a professional services environment.
- 8+ years of experience operating in matrixed organizations to coordinate cross-functional teams across product, operations, and infrastructure to deliver contracted outcomes.
- Experience using MS Project, Clarity, Jira, and Confluence to plan, track, and report program schedules, dependencies, risks/issues, and deliverables in an enterprise context.
- Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education, work, and/or military experience
What would be great to have:
- PMP or equivalent program management certification.
- Experience delivering account processing core banking systems or similar high-throughput transaction processing platforms.
- Experience applying scaled agile methods (e.g., SAFe) within large, multi-team programs.
How you'll work:
This role is on-site Monday through Friday. Fiserv considers in-person collaboration to be an essential part of this role as in-person office experiences help you with your overall onboarding experience and leads to stronger productivity.
This role requires occasional travel (up to 10%).

Salary Range
$118,500.00 - $201,600.00
These pay ranges apply to employees in New Jersey and New York. Pay ranges for employees in other states may differ.
