Role Overview
We’re building something exciting in Kraków — a new Integrated Delivery Solutions team (IDS) focused on delivering world-class Civil, Structural, and Architectural (CS&A) engineering solutions. We're looking for passionate Senior Civil Engineers. This is your chance to work on some of the world’s most exciting nuclear and energy projects; from Small and Advanced Modular Reactor technologies to renewable energy and high-energy industrial projects.
We know that great candidates come with a variety of backgrounds and strengths. You don’t need to tick every box to apply. Whether you're an experienced engineer or just starting your career, we want to hear from you!
Key responsibilities:
Lead and perform civil engineering design for site development, drainage systems, earthworks, utilities, access roads, pavements, platforms, and associated infrastructure.
Develop and own engineering deliverables such as calculation packages, design reports, feasibility studies, specifications, and drawings (in cooperation with CAD/BIM).
Apply and interpret UK and European design standards.
Use engineering best practices and insights from internal/external experience to improve design quality, constructability, safety, sustainability, and lifecycle performance.
Solve complex engineering problems, evaluating multiple solutions and applying new perspectives while remaining compliant with applicable codes and constraints.
Work independently, with minimal guidance, taking responsibility for the quality, accuracy, and completeness of assigned work packages.
Lead civil engineering tasks or project steps within larger multi‑disciplinary projects; plan workloads, estimate resources, manage risks, and control delivery against schedule and budget.
Coordinate with Civil, Structural, Geotechnical, MEP, Architecture, Fire, and Environmental disciplines to resolve interfaces and support integrated design delivery.
Participate in design reviews, digital model reviews, HAZID workshops, and constructability discussions.
Provide technical input for tenders, including scopes, methodologies, assumptions, and work estimates.
Check and review work produced by junior engineers; act as a technical resource and mentor for less-experienced team members.
Support stakeholder engagement, responding to Technical Queries (TQs), addressing comments, and contributing to design change control.
Provide site/field engineering support (RFIs, design clarifications, review of as‑built information) as required.
Support preparation of digital deliverables and coordinate with BIM teams (e.g., reviewing civil models, CDE workflows).
Ensure compliance with IDS governance, quality procedures, and document control requirements.
