Amentum is expanding its Integrated Delivery Solutions (IDS) team in Poland, and we are looking for a Document Controls Expert to support major EU projects. This is an exciting opportunity to join a rapidly growing capability in Kraków and play a key role in delivering high-quality, well-governed information management for complex engineering and infrastructure programmes.
As a senior specialist, you will bring deep technical expertise to help shape and deliver document control solutions across multi-disciplinary international projects. You will work independently, solve complex issues, and guide others in applying best practices and established procedures.
The selected candidate will be employed by Critical Mission Services Sp. zo.o., part of Amentum.
About the Role
In this role, you will act as the subject matter expert for document control, ensuring that document management processes across our EU portfolio meet client, contractual, and regulatory standards. You will design and maintain document control frameworks, support engineering and supply chain teams, and ensure a consistent, audit-ready flow of information across each project.
This is a senior, expert-level position ideal for someone who wants to deepen their technical impact, contribute to a growing team, and support some of the most important and highly regulated projects in Europe.
What You Will Do
Deliver expert-level document control support to EU-based engineering and infrastructure projects.
Lead the implementation and maintenance of ProjectWise, including structure configuration, workflows, metadata, and user permissions.
Interpret client and contractual requirements and translate them into practical, compliant document control procedures.
Solve complex document control challenges and guide colleagues in applying established processes and systems.
Coordinate document workflows across engineering, supply chain, and client teams.
Produce performance reporting and document control metrics for project stakeholders.
Support audits and assurance activities, ensuring full compliance with internal standards and client expectations.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, including process enhancements, templates, and automation opportunities.
Provide coaching, knowledge sharing, and informal training to team members and project stakeholders.
What We’re Looking For
Expert-level ProjectWise experience (mandatory) supporting complex or multi-project environments.
Extensive experience in document control or information management roles.
Strong understanding of document control workflows, governance, and technical standards.
Ability to resolve complex problems, interpret business needs, and recommend best practices.
Experience working independently and guiding others in established solutions.
Strong communication skills and ability to work across international, multi-disciplinary teams.
Experience in regulated sectors (energy, nuclear, infrastructure) is an advantage.
Fluent English and Polish.
