The
Engagement Manager provides day-to-day operational oversight to the Global Consulting Services (GCS) organization. This role focuses on closing opportunities with clients and ensuring that business processes, documentation, and reporting are accurate, timely, and aligned with ADP policies.
The position will be responsible for ensuring Client Engagements are delivered in line with agreement, assignments of consultant to engagement, and financial reporting.
This position serves as a central hub connecting sales, delivery, finance, and vendor management to drive GCS operate efficiently and maintain consistent global standards.
Key Responsibilities
Sales and SOW Support
- Track, and maintain the status of GCS leads, opportunities,
- Meet with prospects and clients to align on scope of engagement, preparation of Statements of Work (SOWs) and related documentation for client delivery, identify suitable candidates for engagement ADP Consultants or through GCS Partner network. Managing pricing approvals, where margins are outside target level.
- Preparation and tracking of Investment Requests where 3rd Party consultants used.
- Coordinate and track client SOW and Partner SOW signatures through ADP signing tool.
- Maintain a centralized library of templates, signed SOWs, and supporting files.
Resource and Consultant Coordination
- Maintain updated records of consultant skills, availability, and project assignments.
- Consultant onboarding/offboarding processes (system setup, access requests, time entry setup, etc.).
- Update and distribute resource allocation reports and utilization summaries.
- Coordinate communication between delivery leads and assigned consultants to confirm schedules and assignments.
Project and Operational Tracking
- Track active projects, start/end dates, key milestones, and status updates. Identifying deviation to ensure timely correspondence with Client.
- Maintain a tracker for all ongoing client engagements, including SOW value, consultant hours, and completion percentage.
- Collection of weekly updates and consolidating data for leadership reporting.
- Ensure all project documentation is filed and accessible for audit and reference.
Financial and Reporting Administration
- Track project revenue, cost, and margin information; ensure data accuracy for forecasting and billing.
- Support monthly financial reconciliation and variance reporting.
- Review vendor invoices and timesheets for accuracy prior to submission.
- Prepare and distribute weekly and monthly operational dashboards and performance reports.
- Maintain trackers for key metrics including utilization, backlog, pipeline, and profitability.
Vendor and Partner Support
- Maintain updated records of vendor consultants, rate cards, and contract expiration dates.
- Assist in coordinating vendor requests, purchase orders, and invoice submissions.
- Verify vendor billing aligns with approved SOWs and time reporting.
- Support compliance and audit checks on vendor documentation.
Administrative and Process Support
- Maintain shared drives, SharePoint, or Teams folders for all operational materials.
- Assist in scheduling internal meetings, preparing agendas, and capturing minutes.
- Prepare regular summary reports for leadership and global operations reviews.
- Support administrative requests from regional leads, including reporting, documentation cleanup, or data consolidation.
- Help standardize and improve internal operational templates, trackers, and forms.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 3–5 years of experience in an administrative or operational support role, preferably in a consulting or services environment.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams; experience with Salesforce or Smartsheet is a plus.
- Ability to manage multiple requests and priorities across regions and time zones.
- Strong communication and follow-up skills; dependable and process-oriented.
