As the Manager, Manufacturing Engineering you will lead a team of manufacturing engineers, technicians, and the production maintenance team to ensure efficient and effective manufacturing processes. This role will be reporting to the site Operations leader.
What You Will Do|

Oversee the development, implementation, and optimization of manufacturing processes to meet production goals, quality standards, and cost objectives

Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, reduce waste, and improve product quality, ensuring alignment with AS9100 requirements

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design engineering, quality, and operations, to support new product introductions and resolve manufacturing challenges

Guide innovation efforts for manufacturing capabilities by contributing to and executing elements of our innovation roadmap, ensuring alignment with strategic goals

Play a key role in our NADCAP accreditation efforts, ensuring special processes meet the rigorous requirements for certification

Manage the production maintenance team to ensure equipment reliability and minimize downtime

Mentor and develop team members to build technical expertise and leadership capabilities

Ensure compliance with all safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements

Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and prepare reports to communicate progress and identify areas for improvement

Formal training in CORE (Customer Oriented Results & Excellence), RTX’s operating system designed to drive continuous improvement and enhance operational performance

Qualifications You Must Have
-
Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience

Experience in manufacturing processes, lean principles, and continuous improvement methodologies
-
Experience in leading teams, including engineers, technicians, and maintenance personnel
-
Experience in Quality Management Systems (QMS) and compliance with AS9100 standards or equivalent
Qualifications We Prefer

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Industrial and Manufacturing Systems Engineering, or Business Administration

Experience in manufacturing engineering or operations, with at least 3 years in a leadership role

Experience in manufacturing software and tools

Experience in the aerospace or defense industry

Experience with NADCAP accreditation or special process compliance

Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills

The salary range for this role is 107,500 USD - 204,500 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
