Role Definition
Monitors and improves the maintenance of the production unit by overseeing maintenance staff and equipment; ensures employees comply with safety procedures and standards. Collaborates with the Quality team.
Responsibilities
• Creating work plans for staff and contractors; reviewing the maintenance work performed by technicians.
• Oversees the purchasing decisions and recommendations regarding equipment and tools; training the workers periodically on various maintenance processes and techniques.
• Assigns maintenance budget responsibility; identifying cost-effective alternatives for current maintenance activities.
• Tracking daily inventories, inspecting production units for wear and tear; ensuring replacements are made on time.
• Leads a team and coaches and mentors the team in order to encourage, motivate, and guide individuals in learning and improving effectiveness.
Degree Requirement
Bachelor's degree in any field with 8+yrs of experience

• Assists in scheduling maintenance tasks based on predicted failure rates and idle time.
• Participates in the routine maintenance of manufacturing equipment.
• Researches techniques and processes to improve equipment operation.
• Works with maintenance employees to identify and eliminate recurring sources of quality defects.
This job requires 5-days onsite work
