Lead continuous improvement processes (via CORE engagements) focused on implementation quality improvement processes employing root cause and corrective action in critical factories and suppliers tied to the MAT Programs

Direct support of QMA and requires 90% of time in and around factory areas at Raytheon or suppliers.

Support implementation of Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) at suppliers
-
Analyze quality performance to identify undesirable effects and opportunities for improvement including quality escapes and/or yield improvement activities
-
On-time delivery recovery activities for quality and mission assurance
-
Growth capacity within our supply base and in our internal Raytheon factories
-
Create visual strategic packages and brief internal and external stakeholders for MAT QMA team
-
Determine/monitor/improve KPI's and implementation processes and positively affect KPI change
-
Work closely with Digital Technology (DT) on implementation of AI solutions

Must be willing and able to travel roughly 25% (domestic and international)
Qualifications You Must Have:
-
Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree, and 12 years of prior relevant Quality, Manufacturing or Project Management experience OR advanced degree in a related field and minimum 10 years of Quality or Project Management experience.

Previous experience implementing QMA best practices in a manufacturing environment.
-
Experience developing process improvements in a Business Process environment.
-
Previous experience preparing and presenting metrics, business strategy and/or key milestones to both internal/external Executives.

The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
Qualifications We Prefer:

Previous manufacturing experience to include one of the following: Process improvement, manufacturing processes and COPQ and cost of poor quality.

Metrics driven Quality Engineer with the ability to influence and impact key KPI performance

Curiosity and commitment to leveraging AI technology to help develop operational velocity within the quality manufacturing environment and output

Experienced in leading cross-functional teams and leaders

Current active SECRET clearance

The salary range for this role is 157,200 USD - 298,800 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
