LCV EUCOM Poland: Laborer (Contingency)
Program Summary
KBR leads the government services world contingency market by providing responsive, full-service logistics support to forces deployed around the world under the Logistics Civil Augmentation Program contract (LOGCAP). KBR’s enduring mission support of the LOGCAP program dates back to 1992 when we served as the contract’s original prime contractor. Today, we have a workforce of over 6,000 people representing 40 nationalities who perform work on the contract in 14 countries.
Job Summary
Under general direction, the Laborer reports to and receives assignments, instructions, and direction from the Foreman or Lead providing services across the site.
Roles and Responsibilities
• Read and interpret instructions and procedures.
• Move materials and equipment to work locations and sets up work site.
• Prepare construction sites, pour and spread concrete, set forms, and/or finish surfaces.
• Participate in routine and turnaround plant maintenance projects and activities.
• Support plant production activities in receiving and shipping materials and products.
• Complete records, maintain tools and equipment, and perform various clean-up and housekeeping activities.
• Observe and follow all safety rules and procedures, including wearing required personal safety equipment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
Basic Qualifications (Required Education, Experience, Skills, and Certifications)
• Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent.
• This is an entry-level role, no special knowledge or experience is required.
• Skills may be required through on-the-job training.
• Must have a valid Driver’s License.
• Must be able to perform frequent and occasional lifting tasks in accordance with applicable Polish Health and Safety regulations.
• Require climbing, reaching, bending, squatting, crawling.
• Must be able to work outdoors in extreme conditions to include heat, cold, dust and rain.
• Basic English proficiency: Must be able to speak, read, and write in English at an basic level.
• Fluency in Polish and possessing an unrestricted right to work and reside in Poland.
Preferred Qualifications (Preferred Education, Experience, Skills, and Certifications)
• Forklift operation certification.
• Previous training/experience in similar laborer roles.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
• Flexibility to support various tasks and the mission as needed.
• Prior experience on a LOGCAP or similar BOS contract.
