In this role, you will:- Manage a team of engineering managers and engineering leads
- Focus on delivering commitments aligned to enterprise strategic priorities
- Build support for strategies with business and technology leaders
- Guide development of actionable roadmaps and plans
- Identify opportunities and strategies for continuous improvement of software engineering practices
- Provide oversight to software craftsmanship, security, availability, resilience, and scalability of solutions developed by the teams or third party providers
- Identify financial management and strategic resourcing
- Set risk management guidelines and partner with stakeholders to implement key risk initiatives
- Develop strategies for hiring engineering talent
- Lead implementation of projects and encourage engineering innovation
- Collaborate and influence all levels of professionals including more experienced managers
- Lead team to achieve objectives
- Interface with external agencies, regulatory bodies or industry forums
- Manage allocation of people and financial resources for Technology Strategic Leadership
- Develop and guide a culture of talent development to meet business objectives and strategy
Key Responsibilities:Strategic Leadership- Develop and execute the overall strategy for workplace technology operations, aligning technology initiatives with business objectives and future growth.
Technology Integration- Oversee selection, deployment, and integration of workplace technology solutions, including Microsoft M365 products, communication platforms, collaboration tools, AV systems, and smart building technologies.
Operational Excellence- Ensure reliable day-to-day operation of workplace technologies, proactively identify and resolve issues, optimize system performance, and maintain high service levels.
Team Management- Build, mentor, and manage a multidisciplinary team of technology specialists, engineers, and support staff. Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Vendor & Stakeholder Collaboration- Manage relationships with technology vendors, service providers, and internal stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery and ongoing support.
Budget & Resource Oversight- Oversee budgeting, procurement, and resource allocation for workplace technology projects and operations.
Security & Compliance- Ensure all workplace technologies and end-user devices adhere to security policies, data privacy regulations, and compliance standards.
Innovation & Future Planning- Stay abreast of emerging technologies, trends, and best practices in workplace technology. Partner with Workplace Engineers opportunities for innovation and digital transformation.
Project Management- Lead and manage complex technology projects from conception to completion, ensuring timely delivery, quality, and alignment with organizational goals.
Scope & Impact- Responsible for operational stability and resiliency of 100+ applications and 500K+ end-user devices, ensuring seamless integration and advancement of technology solutions that support collaboration and operational efficiency.
Required Qualifications:- 8+ years of Technology Strategic Leadership experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- 4+ years of management or leadership experience
Desired Qualifications:- 8+ years of Technology Strategic Leadership experience
- 4+ years of Management experience
- 8+ years of Engineering experience,
- 8+ years of experience Technology Operations, supporting enterprise level complex applications and platforms in Production
- 5+ years of experience performing engineering and support tasks on Linux/Unix and Windows Servers.
- 5+ years of software development experience
- 4+ years of experience with Cloud technologies.
- Proven experience in one or more of the following technologies:
- End-user device management - desktop, laptop, virtual machines
- Microsoft suite of end-user Productivity products
- Observability tooling such as Grafana, Splunk, AppDynamics, Prometheus, Ansible
- Excellent communication (oral and written) with ability to communicate at multiple levels ranging from technologists to senior managers and executive leadership
- Experience in providing thought-leadership, expertise to formulate and execute on major strategies to develop/deliver robust and scalable solutions
- Ability to deliver & engage with partners effectively in a multi-cultural environment by demonstrating co-ownership & accountability in a matrix structure
- Ability to develop and execute business vision, strategies, and goals

Pay RangeReflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to demonstrated examples of prior performance, skills, experience, or work location. Employees may also be eligible for incentive opportunities.
$215,000.00 - $355,000.00
