Environmental, Health, and Safety Manager – Intel/Cyber
The Environmental, Health and Safety Manager – Intel/Cyber, reporting to the VP, EHS – Intel/Cyber works with the corporate EHS support organization and cross-functional Business Group teams to maintain environmental, health, and safety programs, to include policies, processes, procedures and controls. Ensures continuous EHS improvement and that contract performance conforms to established standards and governmental agency guidelines guaranteeing lasting customer satisfaction. Position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a Security clearance at the Top-Secret level. US Citizenship is required. This is a remote-telework role, you must live and work within the US. Salary Range – 111K – 139K.
Essential Responsibilities
Develops and maintains the safety, health and wellbeing and environmental policies and procedures in compliance with corporate, state, federal and local regulations and contract requirements.
Coordinates Business Group EHS goals, initiatives, and execution of Principles of EHS Excellence with operations activities.
Participates at the Business Group level to track and trend key EHS performance indicators and address site related safety, health and environmental concerns.
Provides guidance to managers and supervisors to facilitate EHS improvements and assist them with interpretation and compliance with contract requirements.
Corresponds with corporate Occupational Health, loss control experts and insurance company claim representatives to strengthen the company worker’s compensation and loss prevention program.
Conducts EHS assessment, surveys and audits. Compiles reports and findings for review and makes corrective action recommendations as required.
Risk assessment: Identifies and assesses risks and develops plans to reduce or eliminate them.
Training: Develops and conducts EHS training for employees and managers.
Incident investigation: Leads investigations into incidents, reports findings, shares lessons learned and ensures timely corrective action completion to reduce risk.
Culture: Fosters development of a risk-aware safety culture at diverse Business Group projects.
Develops, monitors and reports on key management metrics to include safety performance, accident prevention, measures, industrial hygiene, personal protection programs, training and awareness, equipment and property protection, EHS trends and strategic initiatives for continuous improvement.
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Environment, Health and Safety (EHS), Industrial Hygiene, or related field and 8 years of experience.
Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Good written and oral communication skills; ability to lead, working knowledge of word-processing and integrated software applications; organizational skills and ability to perform detail-oriented work are required.
US citizenship is required.
This is a remote-telework role, you must live and work within the US.
Position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a Security clearance at the Top-Secret level.
Travel – 25-30% per year.
Desired Experience
EHS Certifications: Certified Safety Professional (CSP), Associate Safety Professional (ASP), or Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH).
Familiarity with ISO 9001/14001 & quality and environmental management system requirements.
Previous work experience within the Intelligence and Cyber community.
