Support F-35B/F-35C/F135 operations to include systems, tooling, material, and processes. The FSE will have hands-on interaction with the engine (software and hardware), aircraft, and squadron personnel.

Ensure comprehensive reporting on support activities including aircraft and engine status, flight reports, operational data, engine configuration status and parts consumption.

Work closely with internal P&W teams (Customer Support Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Operations Center, ALIS teams to assist Marine Fighter-Attack Squadron (VMFA)-311, (VMFA)-314, (VMFAT)-502, and Marine Aviation Logistics Squadron (MALS)-11 Supply Department in troubleshooting and resolution of emerging customer issues and maintain flexibility to resolve constantly changing customer priorities.

Use self-initiative and judgment to identify problems, conduct investigations to determine root cause, and coordinate solutions between P&W, Rolls-Royce, the Joint Strike Fighter Program Office, and Lockheed Martin. Representative FSE will be responsible for coordinating field issues with P&W Site Manager, Engineering, and Logistics Program Management.

Comply with Environment, Health and Safety (EH&S) requirements and participating in Customer Oriented Results and Excellence (CORE) initiatives.

Travel for extended periods of time to support customer deployments to contested areas. Domestic and International Travel, as well as Shipboard Operations are required and part of the team concept. Must have the ability to rotate first and second shift schedules as required to meet customer support and team objectives.
Qualifications You Must Have:

A bachelor’s degree is required; an engineering or related technical field is preferred. Non-technical degrees will be considered if the candidate has appropriate / related experience.

A minimum of 8+ years of professional experience in engine/aircraft maintenance, logistics, and logistics support. This includes supply chain management and Support Equipment management.

Candidate must be able to pass a health physical for Shipboard operations.

The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued secret security clearance is required. Candidates that have had a clearance that has recently lapsed (not more than 2 years), may apply for consideration. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a secret clearance.

Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Products, specifically Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
Qualifications We Prefer:

Experience on the F135 engine and associated programs to include Autonomic Logistics Information System (ALIS)/OBPHM

Knowledge of turbine engine theory and operation

Familiarity of USMC aviation operations/structure

The salary range for this role is 118,300 USD - 224,900 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
