Empower and lead the RPCL Product Engineering team in casting development activities including: part quality requirements, casting mold & tooling design, work instructions, etc.

Lead continuous improvement activities and enforce standardized engineering practices, processes, tools and methods across all products.

Develop the product engineering team in skill sets which are critical for group success.

Manage the resources and assignments across the team

Develop technical and project plans for new castings to meet all casting quality requirements

Support the RPCL Operations team as needed to meet program requirements

Travel less than 10%
Qualifications you must have:
-
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, manufacturing, or related field and 8 years of experience; or an Advanced Degree and 5 years of experience.

U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.
Qualifications we prefer:

Prior experience as supervisor in Engineering or Operations Engineering

Leadership, critical thinking, business discernment, innovation, collaboration, written & verbal communication, presentation, analytical thinking, problem solving, customer focus, attention to detail

Prior experience in castings, manufacturing engineering, and aerospace
-
Six Sigma green belt or equivalent
-
Background with Statistical Process Control (SPC) and the Manufacturing Readiness Level (MRL) process

Highly self-directed, quick learner, with a strong drive for results, team-building, and excellent organizational and communication skills

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance workers, as they are essential to the development of our engines

The salary range for this role is 107,500 USD - 204,500 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
