Lead and manage a team of delivery assurance professionals, providing strategic direction, coaching, and performance management to achieve organizational objectives.

Develop and implement delivery assurance strategies to ensure supplier on-time delivery, mitigate risks, and meet program requirements.

Establish and maintain metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor supplier delivery performance and drive continuous improvement.

Collaborate with suppliers and internal stakeholders, including procurement, quality, engineering, and program management, to resolve delivery issues and implement corrective actions.

Conduct regular supplier performance reviews, including capacity assessments, production readiness evaluations, and risk assessments.

Drive root cause analysis and corrective action plans to address systemic delivery challenges and improve supply chain resilience.

Represent the delivery assurance function in executive-level forums, providing updates on supplier performance, risks, and mitigation plans.

Partner with procurement teams to negotiate delivery terms, prioritize critical needs, and escalate issues as necessary.

Support digital transformation initiatives to enhance supply chain visibility, analytics, and decision-making.

Travel 10% or as needed.
Qualifications You Must Have
-
Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field and a minimum of 8 years of experience in supply chain, delivery assurance, procurement, or related disciplines; OR an advanced degree and 5 years relevant experience.

Knowledge of government contracting and FAR/DFARS regulations.

3+ years in a leadership or management role.

Strong understanding of supply chain principles, delivery assurance processes, and supplier performance management.

Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex supply chain challenges.

Excellent problem-solving skills, with a track record of implementing effective solutions to delivery issues.

3+ years of experience working with supply chain management tools, enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems, and data analytics.
Qualifications We Prefer

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across all levels of the organization.

Professional certifications such as CPSM, CPIM, or PMP.

Experience in the aerospace or defense industry.

Familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies.

Work Location: This is a hybrid role, eligible candidates must reside within commuting distance of Tucson, AZ.

The salary range for this role is 107,500 USD - 204,500 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
