Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive financial strategies aligned with organizational goals, including fiscal management, revenue cycle management, and cost control initiatives.
- Oversee corporate accounting functions, ensuring compliance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles), IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards), IAS (International Accounting Standards), and ASC 606 standards.
- Lead risk management efforts by conducting thorough risk analysis, implementing COSO frameworks, and ensuring adherence to SOX (Sarbanes-Oxley Act) regulations.
- Manage treasury functions such as cash flow forecasting, banking relationships, and investment strategies to optimize liquidity and financial stability.
- Drive business development activities including mergers & acquisitions, market analysis, and strategic planning to expand organizational reach.
- Supervise financial reporting processes; interpret complex financial reports for senior leadership; prepare detailed financial models and reports for stakeholders.
- Oversee budgeting processes, expense management, payroll management, and cost management initiatives to ensure fiscal discipline across departments.
- Lead a high-performing finance team by providing mentorship in areas such as technical accounting, financial analysis, supply chain finance, tax accounting, and governmental accounting.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in senior leadership roles within finance or accounting functions; prior supervisory experience is essential.
- Extensive knowledge of financial concepts including profit & loss analysis, revenue management, risk analysis, and cost control strategies.
- Strong expertise in regulatory compliance standards such as GAAP, IFRS, IAS, SOX regulations, and ASC 606 guidelines.
- Demonstrated ability in financial modeling, forecasting, business analysis, and strategic planning with excellent analytical skills.
- Proficiency with financial software systems; familiarity with advanced financial software tools is preferred.
- Exceptional negotiation skills combined with a proactive approach to business development opportunities like mergers & acquisitions.
- Excellent communication skills for effective financial report writing and interpretation; capable of translating complex data into clear insights for non-financial stakeholders.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or related field; CPA or CFA certification is highly desirable. Pay: $79,131.94 - $110,384.70 per year
