Job Summary
We’re seeking an entrepreneurial, highly technical product leader to define and scale our Computer Vision (CV) portfolio for enterprise customers at Comcast Business. You’ll own strategy, roadmap, and execution across the full lifecycle—discovery, pilots, launch, and scale—while leading a cross functional team and collaborating across Engineering, Data Science, UX/Design, Operations, Sales, Marketing, Business Development, and Legal.
You’ll manage a portfolio of CV capabilities, adjacent SaaS services and how CV unlocks additional value when combined with our existing IoT solutions and platform. Your mandate: deliver intuitive, reliable, robust products that solve real operational problems and drive measurable business outcomes for customers across the Retail segment especially in the Food & Beverage/Restaurant and Convenience Store sub-verticals.
Job Description
Scope & Impact:
- Portfolio Ownership: Lead the CV product line: refine the product vision and strategy, build the business case, and rationalize build/buy/partner decisions across hardware, edge, cloud, and integrations.
- Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a cross‑functional product team (PMs and embedded software/ML resources); set goals, accelerate execution, and foster innovation (POCs, accelerators, internal tools).
- Zero‑to‑One & Scale: Take products from concept → field pilots → GA → scaled deployment with Fortune 1000s; manage device and model lifecycle, upgrades, and deprecations.
What You'll Do:
Product Strategy & Roadmap
- Maintain a roadmap of customer problems to solve and a 12–18 month vision for camera‑based CV and enterprise SaaS services.
- Define product requirements (PRDs, user stories, acceptance criteria), success metrics, and financial models (ROI, margin, payback).
- Drive build / buy / partner strategy—camera OEMs, CV solutions partners, etc.
Customer Discovery & Market Development
- Facilitate user research with UX/Design; conduct site observations and structure hypothesis‑driven experiments.
- Support pilots with Operations (site selection, logistics, instrumentation, success criteria, reporting).
- Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and BD on positioning, pricing & packaging, promotions, and enterprise go‑to‑market motions.
Market & Competitive Intelligence
- Conduct ongoing market research and feasibility analyses; publish quarterly competitive updates (CV stacks, VMS, privacy/compliance, vertical benchmarks).
- Track vertical trends and regulatory considerations (privacy‑by‑design, SOC 2, GDPR/CCPA).
- Evaluate leading technology vendors in the space leading efforts to onboard new technologies and partners
Execution & Operational Excellence
- Partner with Engineering/Data Science to scope and deliver first‑party solutions across hardware, edge inference, model services, and deployment.
- Establish policies and mechanisms for forecasting, cost/margin analysis, device and model lifecycle, and SLA management.
- Stand up product health and model performance dashboards (adoption, accuracy, latency, cost, false positive/negative rates, NPS/CSAT).
Leadership & Culture
- Champion the customer experience with seamless digital touchpoints and a bias to action.
- Model our operating principles—own the customer experience, win as a team, elevate feedback loops (NPS), drive results and growth, champion inclusion & diversity, and do what’s right.
- Act as internal/external evangelist for the CV portfolio; represent roadmap and value to customers, partners, and executives.
- Note: Some pilots and go‑lives may require occasional evening/weekend availability.
