Winston Salem - North Carolina - United States of America
About The Role
We are seeking a Senior Recruiter with a background in executive search to lead full cycle hiring for complex, high impact technical and operations roles across a large, distributed field environment. This recruiter operates as a talent advisor, not a requisition processor. The role requires strong market mapping, proactive sourcing, stakeholder influence, and data driven pipeline management in a fast moving, high demand setting.
This environment includes hard to fill technical, maintenance, automation, and site leadership roles across multiple regions. Hiring demand shifts quickly due to site launches, organizational redesign, attrition patterns, and workforce transitions. Success in this role requires foresight, discipline, and consultative partnership with senior stakeholders.
Candidates must have current or prior experience working in an executive search firm or retained search environment.
What You Will Do
- Own full cycle recruiting for senior level and hard to fill technical and operations roles across multiple sites and regions
- Act as a strategic talent advisor to hiring leaders, not just a requisition owner
- Build proactive pipelines for niche and high demand skill sets before roles open
- Conduct market mapping and competitor talent research to guide hiring strategy
- Drive intake conversations that clarify business outcomes, success profiles, and realistic talent pools
- Develop targeted sourcing strategies using LinkedIn, direct outreach, referrals, industry groups, and research driven mapping
- Engage and convert passive candidates through credible storytelling and role positioning
- Partner with leaders on talent market conditions, compensation signals, and time to fill expectations
- Create slate strategies for leadership and specialist roles, not just individual candidate submissions
- Use data to manage funnel health, conversion ratios, aging requisitions, and risk signals
- Anticipate hiring delays and intervene early with adjusted sourcing and branding strategy
- Collaborate with coordination, preboarding, and workforce teams to ensure smooth hiring and start processes
- Maintain high candidate experience standards even under high volume and urgent demand
- Support hiring events, targeted campaigns, and regional talent initiatives when needed
What Makes This Role Challenging
- High volume of specialized and technical roles with limited talent supply
- Rapid shifts in hiring demand due to organizational changes
- Competing stakeholder priorities across multiple locations
- Need for proactive pipelining instead of reactive recruiting
- Pressure to balance speed, quality, and candidate experience
- Frequent need to reset expectations using market data and funnel metrics
- Complex role calibration across technical and leadership stakeholders
What We Are Looking For
- Current or prior experience in an executive search firm or retained search model
- Demonstrated success recruiting senior, technical, or operational leadership roles
- Strong passive candidate sourcing and direct approach capability
- Experience managing complex searches with multiple stakeholders

- Advanced sourcing and market mapping skills
- Consultative intake and stakeholder advisory capability
- Strong LinkedIn and professional network engagement strategy
- Employer value proposition and role storytelling strength
- Data driven desk management and funnel tracking
- Ability to prioritize across multiple critical searches
- Confidence pushing back on unrealistic timelines using market evidence
- High ownership and follow through
Technical And Workflow Skills
- Strong experience with ATS and CRM recruiting systems
- Comfortable using recruiting metrics and funnel analytics
- Skilled with LinkedIn Recruiter and advanced search techniques
- Experience building talent communities and referral pipelines
Top Performers In This Role
- Think like a search consultant, not a coordinator
- Build pipelines before they are needed
- Use data to guide daily recruiting decisions
- Influence leaders with talent market insight
- Convert passive talent through credibility and preparation
- Anticipate hiring risk and act early
- Deliver quality under pressure without sacrificing candidate experience
