IT Support Specialist (Military Transition Program)

We are seeking a disciplined, detail-oriented IT Support Specialist to join our technical operations team. This role is a perfect fit for transitioning service members or veterans with a background in communications (MOS 25 series, 06 series, or equivalent), electronics, or technical systems maintenance. You will be the front line of our technology infrastructure, ensuring our "mission-essential" systems stay online.
Responsibilities:
- Rapid Response: Manage technical "trouble tickets" to resolve hardware, software, and network issues for on-site and remote personnel.
- Asset Readiness: Configure, deploy, and maintain laptops, mobile devices, and peripherals (Windows/macOS).
- Identity Management: Oversee user access, security permissions, and account provisioning via Active Directory.
- Technical Training: Conduct "briefings" for new hires on system usage and cybersecurity best practices.
- Preventative Maintenance: Monitor system health, perform software patches, and ensure data integrity through routine backups.
Qualifications:
- Military Experience: Honorable discharge and a track record of technical aptitude or leadership in a high-stakes environment.
- Problem-Solving: Proven ability to troubleshoot complex systems using a logical, "adapt and overcome" approach.
- Technical Familiarity: Understanding of Microsoft 365, networking basics (TCP/IP), and hardware repair.
- Certifications: Preference given to candidates with CompTIA A+, Security+, or Network+.
