Description
We are seeking a seasoned Senior Business Development Manager with deep experience working with NASA, complemented by exposure to other federal agencies with space missions (e.g., U.S. Space Force, NOAA, USGS, etc.) and experience collaborating with commercial space companies. This role will lead strategic business development initiatives within the Government Services and Solutions Business Area to expand market presence, grow revenue opportunities, and strengthen partnerships across NASA and NASA-adjacent government markets.
The successful candidate will own pipeline development, develop high-impact growth strategies, and collaborate closely with internal and external stakeholders to position solutions that deliver mission value. The ideal candidate brings strong customer relationships, sector expertise, strategic insight, and a proven track record of winning complex government pursuits, while effectively engaging industry partners across the broader space ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities
Build and implement robust growth strategies and influence solution development, positioning, pricing, and proposal development.
Partner internally with technical, program, finance, contracts, and senior leadership teams to align offerings with customer mission needs and win themes.
Coordinate and lead capture teams, ensuring alignment of win strategies, competitive intelligence, risk mitigation, and pricing strategy.
Support industry engagement, teaming, and coalition building with strategic partners, including primes, subcontractors, and commercial space entities, in support of government customer pursuits.
Drive BD planning, pipeline forecasting, opportunity qualification, and business planning processes for NASA and adjacent government markets.
Basic Qualifications
Deep understanding of U.S. government contracting vehicles, procurement processes, and compliance frameworks (FAR, commercial, OTA, etc.).
Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree in business, engineering, space policy, or related field preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
Proven experience working with or selling into USAF, Space Force, NOAA, and USGS or similar Federal civilian agencies.

Pay Range:
Pay Range $154,050.00 - $278,475.00
