Description:Ocala Lockheed Martin Operations is hiring a Receiving Inspector for the 3X12 Weekend Schedule, Friday-Sunday, 6:00am to 6:30pm. This position is responsible for performing inspections as part of the receiving operations ensuring product quality and compliance.
Our team is responsible for ensuring that all incoming components, printed wiring boards (PWBs), electrical and mechanical parts, and materials meet strict contractual and engineering requirements before they enter production.
What You Will Be DoingAs the Receiving Inspection you will be responsible for conducting thorough inspections of inbound items, verifying compliance with specifications, and documenting findings to support high‑quality manufacturing.
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Perform detailed visual and functional inspections of components, PWBs, and mechanical parts.
Verify that all items meet contractual and engineering specifications.
Document inspection results and communicate non‑conformances to relevant stakeholders.
Maintain accurate inspection records and support traceability requirements.
Collaborate with the receiving and manufacturing teams to resolve quality issues promptly.

Ocala is the largest manufacturing site within Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire control (MFC). MFC Ocala is
responsible for manufacturing and assembling circuit
cards, cable and harnesses, and electro-optic
assemblies for 20+ programs in an air conditioned
facility. Our facility invests in new and upgraded
automated equipment to maximize quality and
efficiency, and has a highly flexible automated
circuit card assembly process including localized wave
solder, hot air solder, robotic contact solder, 3D solder
paste inspection, automated optical inspection, and
automated X-Ray inspection.
MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access.
Basic Qualifications:-Ability to work 1st shift
-This facility requires special access and therefore must be a US Citizen.
-2 years of experience in JFG 124 while currently active as an Inspector for at least the preceding 6 consecutive months, OR 2 years of equivalent Receiving Inspection experience.
-Experience with and/or knowledge of basic inspection tools including scales, calipers, micrometers, height gauges, etc.
-Ability to work from engineering drawings, blueprints, quality inspection procedures, military specifications, inspections plans and other written instructions
-Certified to J-STD-001 or be able to obtain solder
certification
-Ability to obtain and maintain XRF (Component finish)certification

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
