Role Definition
Provides support and guidance on all aspects of production, costs, quality, compliance to safety guidelines, and environmental requirements for assembly manufacturing processes.
Responsibilities
- Participating in identifying and implementing enhancements and modifications to equipment and processes.
- Development assembly manufacturing process for new products (NPI, NSI).
- Monitoring equipment and process reliability; identifying and addressing problem areas.
- Analyzing engineering change notices, determines any part or process change, initiates and implements all changes.
- Providing engineering support on planning, development, operation, and maintenance of equipment, processes, or facilities.
Degree Requirement
- Related degrees in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or similar.
- Conversational English

Manufacturing Equipment:

- Experience with torque tools (manual, electronic and pneumatic), assembly tools, interpreting drawings and specifications.

- Leads process optimization by applying industry benchmarks and selecting effective methodologies for specific products.
- Develops and standardizes best practices through clear documentation and evaluation of alternative processes and technologies.
- Builds capability across teams by training others and monitoring new processes and technologies for performance and improvement.
- Assembly process working knowledge is essential.
Manufacturing Safety:
- Leads workplace safety efforts by consulting on safety tools, promoting EHS rules, and ensuring employee and contractor compliance.
- Ensures regulatory compliance through safety inspections, hazard identification, reporting violations, and initiating corrective actions.
- Develops emergency readiness by designing and implementing emergency response processes and procedures.
Problem Management Process - MFG:
- Applies a disciplined problem‑solving approach to diagnose, resolve, and document standard and non‑standard issues.
- Tracks and monitors issue resolution by recording common problems, managing alternatives, and providing feedback to customers.
- Uses problem reporting and tracking tools to follow established procedures and ensure effective resolution.
- This position requires knowledge of lean manufacturing concepts.
Top candidates will have:
- Green Belt Training (desirable).
- Software knowledge/management PINpoint, SAP, SAP ME (desirable).
Additional information
- This position will be in Cienega de Flores, Nuevo Leon
- This position is five-days a week subject to changes and willingness to work sporadically on weekends.
- Relocation assistance is not available for this position.
- Occasional 10% local travel required.
