Evaluate and coordinate program requirements to ensure a controlled flow of materials and services to meet customer requirements.

Provide status of work in progress, material availability, and potential production problems to ensure that personnel, equipment, materials, and services are provided as needed.

Work daily to confirm material supply availability.

Prepare purchase requests for components based on a master production schedule, shop load, and inventory requirements.

Work with program support staff to resolve material shortages and other issues impacting product build.

Report on and troubleshooting MRP system generated exceptions; and taking corrective action on unfavorable trends as necessary.

Conduct quarterly physical inventory cycle counts and reconciling the system
-
Expedite the movement of parts by means of move orders, stock transfers, etc.

Perform movement of material to and from the factory, pack/ship (or other area) as needed. Must be able to lift per RTX EHS Lifting Guidelines.

Responsible for maintaining stacked LOB and extracting impact data for weekly analysis in support of IPT/PPR meetings with programs.

Attend, support, and/or lead weekly program and factory meetings.

This role will be onsite in our McKinney, TX facility.
Qualifications You Must Have:
-
Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years experience

Minimum 5 years of experience in Supply Chain, Production and/or and Planning Control, MRP, Inventory Management, Capacity Planning, and/or manufacturing engineering in a government contractor environment
-
Experience using Material Requirements Planning (MRP) processes and/or software
-
Previous experience transforming complex information and data into clear, concise, and visually engaging slides.

Experience with Microsoft Office 365 software (Excel, Word, Power Point).
Qualifications We Prefer:

Financial Acumen: AOP, Forecasting, Estimates at Complete, Earned Value Management, CAM knowledge Experience with Special programs access, Kinaxis, CMES or similar software

Experience with Six Sigma methodology (CORE) and/or tools such as lean manufacturing, diagnostic, process optimization and continuous improvement
-
Previous experience with complex systems and processes
-
Previous experience interfacing, collaborating, and communicating with all levels of an organization, as well as with a large external customer base, to accomplish tasks.

The salary range for this role is 86,800 USD - 165,200 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
