Field Operator (Commissioning/Startup/Operation)
Location: Basra. Iraq. 28/28 Rotation
Role Overview
Responsible for monitoring activities across facility to ensure safe & efficient operation.
JOB DESCRIPTION
- leak testing of process and utility systems.
- Involving in loop and C&E checks.
- Commissioning and trial run activities
- Lining up and isolation of valves and systems according to startup/shutdown list
- Patrolling and monitoring the field for any abnormalities of rotating and static equipment.
- Monitoring overall parameters
- Start up and shut down activities.
- Field operations and maintenance activities
- Maintaining Field log sheet
- Communication with DCS Operator throughout shift
- Manpower handling and focal point for field house keeping.
- Maintaining field records
- Preparation of daily reports and monthly reports
- Maintaining documentation (isolation and de isolation LOTO).
- Support other disciplines for the maintenance activities for isolation and de isolation.
- PTW handling including manpower and equipment safety
- Safe operation of the plant
- Ensure that all safety precautions are in place
- Emergency response
- Carry out any other related duties as and when directed by the supervisor.
