In this role, you will:
Lead cross functional teams to strategize, plan, and execute a variety of programs, services and initiatives
Drive accountability for assigned initiatives, limit risk exposure, and create efficiencies as appropriate
Review strategic approaches and effectiveness of support function and business performance
Ensure adherence with compliance regulations and policies within Business Growth Strategy functional area
Perform assessments through fact finding and data requiring creative approaches to solving complex issues, and develop appropriate solutions or recommendations
Make decisions in highly complex and multifaceted situations requiring solid understanding of business group's functional area or products, facilitate decision making and issue resolution, and support implementation of developed solutions and plans
Collaborate and consult with members of the Business Execution team and team leaders to drive strategic initiatives
Influence, guide and lead less experienced Strategy and Execution staff within the group
Required Qualifications:
5+ years of Business Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
3+ years of experience working in the Financial Services Industry in an investments product or similar role
3 + years of direct experience at an RIA or RIA custodian
Requires understanding of business practice management, investment products and fintech expertise in RIA marketplace including:
Direct knowledge of RIA fintech platforms
Direct knowledge building RIA practice management programs
Direct knowledge of investment products including SMA, and Alternative investments
Understanding of banking and lending solutions
Provides competitive intelligence of custody landscape
Strong presentation skills
Excellent program management and organization skills including the ability to manage across multiple projects and partners.
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Ability to work and influence successfully within a matrix environment and build effective business partnerships with all levels of team members
Experience operating effectively in a geographically dispersed organization
Ability to interact with integrity and a high level of professionalism with all levels of customers, team members and management
Virtual leadership experience with ability to effectively drive results, provide feedback/direction, and manage and build relationships with leaders and team members in a geographically dispersed team environment
Job Expectations:
Obtaining and/or maintaining appropriate Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) license(s) is required for ongoing employment in this position. FINRA Series 7 and 63 examinations, or equivalent must be completed within either a 90 or 180-day time period following commencement of employment, depending upon the number of license(s) needed if not immediately available to transfer upon hire. FINRA recognized equivalents will be accepted. This will be communicated at time of offer acceptance. Compliance with state law registration and licensing requirements is mandatory. In addition to state registration and licensing requirements, specific product licenses or SAFE licensing may apply. Additional requirements include meeting enhanced financial fitness and criminal background standards. Wells Fargo will initiate the FINRA licensing review process at the time of offer acceptance. For specific FINRA qualification exams obtained after 9/30/2018, the Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) exam co-requisite is required
