Job Summary
Join a transformational initiative as Hilton modernizes its flagship Property Engagement Platform, transitioning from a legacy desktop system to a cutting-edge, web-based platform serving over 8,000 properties worldwide. This hands-on role sits at the critical intersection of program strategy, delivery governance, and continuous improvement. You will be responsible for driving pre-delivery governance, portfolio planning, and scope readiness while ensuring transparency and data-informed decision-making across Product, Engineering, QA, and vendor teams. Responsibilities
- Build and maintain roadmaps and Gantt/milestone plans for program increment and release timelines
- Drive scope intake, triage, refinement, and definition of ready, ensuring work is fully decomposed into Epics, Features, and Stories before sprint assignment
- Track scope changes and enforce scope freeze discipline while managing change control and traceability
- Own Jira configuration and hygiene across Epics, Features, and Stories, including naming conventions, fields, and workflows
- Design Jira dashboards, Advanced Roadmaps/Portfolio views, and KPI scorecards tracking velocity, throughput, spillover, defect escape rate, and cycle/lead time
- Compile and interpret Jira data for root cause analyses on missed deliveries, scope churn, and dependency blockers, defining mitigation actions
- Establish and maintain governance standards including epic/feature templates, acceptance criteria guidance, and definition of ready/done
- Run cadence for pre-delivery ceremonies such as scope review, dependency mapping, and readiness checks
- Create and socialize process maps and RACI documents while maintaining
- Confluence as the single source of truth
- Partner with Product, Engineering, QA, and external vendors to align capacity, dependencies, and delivery priorities
- Anticipate and escalate cross-team dependencies and risks, ensuring mitigation plans have clear owners and deadlines
- Improve handoffs across SDLC stages from requirements through deployment
- Create executive-ready PowerPoint updates and summaries covering progress, risks, root cause analyses, mitigation plans, and decisions needed
- Maintain program health dashboards and narrative summaries for leadership and stakeholder forums
- Uphold a culture of transparency, accountability, and speed through excellent written communications and stakeholder management
Skills
- Advanced Jira proficiency including dashboards, filters/JQL, and cross-project reporting
- Strong Confluence expertise
- Advanced presentation and storytelling capabilities with ability to transform data into clear insights and actionable recommendations
- Deep understanding of SDLC, Agile/Scrum methodologies, and preferably SAFe frameworks in multi-team environments
- Root cause analysis capabilities and mitigation planning expertise
- Process design and documentation skills using tools such as Visio or Lucidchart
- Gantt and milestone planning proficiency
- Scope freeze management experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills including email correspondence, stakeholder updates, and presentation deck building
- Ability to influence without authority
- Strong sense of urgency with proven ability to chase actions and own outcomes

Experience
- 7 plus years in Program Analyst, Portfolio Analyst, PMO, Project/Program Management, or Business Analyst roles on large-scale programs
- Demonstrated experience working with third-party delivery vendors
- Proven track record in operational systems required for business operations
- Advanced Excel skills including pivoting and lookup functions
- Basic SQL or data analysis experience is beneficial
- Availability during core hours at least 3 days per week to support program cadences and collaboration
- Experience with DevOps and CI/CD concepts is preferred
- SAFe certification is a plus
