Amentum is seeking a Systems Administrator Professional to support the Space Force Range Contract (SFRC).
Responsibilities:
- Provide problem-solving support to computer users in a timely manner by telephone, onsite, or remotely with a focus on customer satisfaction.
- Track and monitors personal computer problems to ensure technically sound solutions.
- Provide user desk-side support which includes but is not limited to:
- Software application installs
- Hardware imaging and installations
- Delivery/relocation and setup of computer system equipment
- On-site troubleshooting for hardware and software related issues
- Map users’ client machines to Network Printers
- Assist in Tier 3 support in resolving software, network, and server infrastructure issues and projects
- Manage and maintain Active Directory Objects to ensure reliability and functionality for all users.
- Direct delivery and development of instruction with practical knowledge and experience in the subject
- Track, monitor, and document support Tier 2/3 issues in online helpdesk system.
- Assist in ensuring that SFRC property is managed and annually inventoried in property tracking tools.
- Other duties as assigned
Required Skills:

- Ability to interact with customers via phone or email, be a contributing team player, and interact at all levels of the organization.
- Ability to analyze and resolve both unique and repetitive desktop computer issues.
- Good organizational and time management skills to balance, plan, prioritize, and execute projects.
- Ability to work within a dynamic, fast paced environment with time constraints.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 3+ years of direct computer technical support experience in a dynamic technically challenging environment spanning multiple physical locations.
- Experience with diagnosing, and resolving, client computer and network connection issues, as well as installation/configuration of client operating systems and various software applications.
- Experience with remote desktop tools as well as a wide variety of network-based printers/copiers.
- Must currently possess or be able to obtain, within (6) months, CompTIA’s Security+ certification.
- Additional technical certifications (CCNA-Security, Network+) highly desired
- Ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, and squat to resolve system issues
- Ability to lift, push and pull up to 50 pounds
- The flexibility to work occasional non-duty hours or on weekends to support specific project or mission requirements
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Security Clearance, which includes U.S. citizenship or U.S. naturalization
- Valid U.S. Driver’s License
Compensation Details:
$100,000 to $110,000
