Job Summary
Caterpillar is seeking a Total Rewards Partner to join Global Compensation COE Division.
The incumbent would provide Total Rewards consultancy services to internal customers in support of benefit and total health & wellbeing programs, compensation management, employee relocation & expatriate management and retirement programs. Completes intermediate to complex analysis and research, develops and delivers communication material, works with internal & external partners & vendors. Acts as a global program manager for designated Total Rewards programs, owning end‑to‑end program delivery, governance, and continuous improvement. The role manages and leads projects and solves moderate‑to‑complex Total Rewards challenges within a COE
The preference for this role is to be based out of Bangalore Whitefield office, KA-India
What you will do
Job Description
- Serve as a Global Program Manager for assigned Total Rewards programs, owning program planning, execution, governance, and ongoing optimization across regions.
- Act as a key COE point of contact for Total Rewards initiatives, partnering with HR, Finance, Payroll, Legal, and regional stakeholders to ensure alignment and smooth execution.
- Lead program management activities, including defining scope, timelines, dependencies, risks, and success measures; track progress and drive issue resolution.
- Manage relationships with external vendors, including service delivery oversight, performance management, issue resolution, and adherence to agreed service standards and contractual commitments.
- Support administration and ongoing management of Total Rewards programs, including employee data coordination, process execution, and operational governance.
- Conduct external market research and benchmarking to understand Total Rewards trends; provide insights and recommendations to enhance existing programs or inform new initiatives.

- Ability to manage global, cross‑functional Total Rewards programs end‑to‑end, including planning, execution, governance, and continuous improvement.
- Skilled in managing timelines, risks, dependencies, and stakeholders to deliver outcomes in a complex, multi‑region environment.
Stakeholder & Vendor Management
- Ability to influence and partner with internal stakeholders across HR, Finance, Payroll, Legal, and regional teams.
- Experience managing external vendors, including performance monitoring, issue resolution, and service delivery governance.
Analytical & Problem‑Solving
- Ability to analyze Total Rewards data, identify trends or gaps, and recommend practical, scalable solutions.
