Job Summary
As a Logistics analyst, you will work directly for the Senior Manager Production and be a key partner in decision making in support of 24/7 supply and logistics operations. You will serve as the subject matter expert for all aspects of receiving and accounts payable for the Dock team. You will support end-to-end logistics and supply chain operations across all modes of transportation in a manufacturing environment. You will be lead the receiving team, oversee the Traffic Auditor, and provide IAAS oversight. This role partners closely with receiving, transportation providers, and internal stakeholders to ensure accurate inventory records, timely shipment execution, and continuous improvement in cost, quality, and service. The ideal candidate brings strong attention to detail, experience with logistics tracking systems, and a problem-solving mindset focused on operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the process and assist with dock receiving discrepancies by researching issues and correcting or cleaning inventory records to ensure data accuracy.
- Plan and apply coverage plans for gaps in the receiving team including training oversight and agency partner interactions.
- Management of the asset accountability program ensuring collective essential tools are arrayed effectively and tracked essentially including RFID, Scanners, Radios, and Automations to support the section and group manager.
- Support and help direct the work of the receiving team to maintain Inventory Record Accuracy (IRA).
- Implement and maintain shipment monitoring systems, providing visibility to shipment status, ship date, in-transit location, estimated arrival, and actual delivery.
- Identify and recommend process improvement opportunities related to logistics cost, quality, service, and customer satisfaction.
- Generate, analyze, and interpret transportation cost and carrier performance reports.
- Support inbound and outbound logistics activities across all major domestic transportation modes.
- Collaborate with carriers, shippers, and internal partners to ensure efficient, compliant, and timely transportation execution.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in leadership, logistics, supply chain, receiving, or transportation operations
- Experience using logistics tracking or transportation management systems (TMS), associated parts tracking systems, and receiving systems
- Strong analytical, reporting, and data accuracy skills
- Degree or equivalent experience desired
- Experience in a manufacturing or distribution environment

Logistics Management: Knowledge of logistics and management; ability to follow proper processes and run operations for effective and efficient movement of materials and finished products.
Supplier Management - MFG: Knowledge of processes and methods to effectively manage business relationships and transactions with suppliers of raw materials or product components; ability to apply related knowledge, experience and skills into real practice.
Supply Chain Management - MFG: Knowledge of functions, principles and techniques used in supply chain management; ability to develop and use, strategies, practices and tools for controlling the logistical processes.
Transportation - MFG: Knowledge of transportation; ability to transport materials and goods to and from suppliers, distribution centers, manufacturing facilities and customers.
Summary Pay Range:
$72,360.00 - $108,540.00
