The Boeing Company is looking for a highly experienced and detail-oriented Senior SAP Technical Project Lead to join the team in Bangalore, India.
We are designing, developing, and implementing SAP S/4HANA as our future Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) platform. In this role, you will lead large digital transformation projects, implementing SAP S/4HANA across multiple business units, helping shape the future of our enterprise systems with emphasis on business transformation on Enterprise Finance and our Commercial Airplanes business. This is a senior role responsible for executing projects with rigor and accountability, and requires you to demonstrate leadership, mentoring and positive influence on the team.
Position Responsibilities:
Lead and manage project implementation teams comprising of Boeing employees and System Integrators at different business units and sites
Create and manage complex enterprise-wide project plans following SAP Activate methodology and lead activities to manage scope, budget, dependencies, risks and schedules for SAP projects
Partner with all stakeholders (e.g. business, other Information Technology (IT) teams, system integrators etc.) and drive timely delivery of the solution across all project phases (SAP Activate phases: discover, prepare, explore, realize, deploy, run)
Ensure delivery to committed plans delivery through leadership, positive motivation, influence
Lead specific statements of work executed from our India teams comprising of Boeing employees and strategic technology partners
Collaborate and coordinate with global stakeholders including US ensuring progress to plan on overall program delivery
Lead activities to manage project scope, budget, dependencies, risks, and schedules for SAP projects, ensuring adherence to timelines and financial constraints
Conduct regular stakeholder meetings to provide updates, gather feedback, and address any concerns or issues
Build and continuously update knowledge on common core processes following industry best practices and defined architectural standards
Ensure the solution built is scalable to high volume, flexible for future enhancements, and upgradable into next generation solutions (minimize customizations)
Share insights and best practices with project teams to enhance overall project execution and outcomes
Identify potential risks and issues throughout the project lifecycle and develop mitigation strategies to address them
Implement quality assurance processes to ensure that project deliverables meet defined standards and requirements
Develop and execute change management plans including training to facilitate smooth transitions to new systems and processes
Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure project success and track progress against established goals
Analyze performance data to identify trends and areas for improvement, making recommendations for in-flight and future projects
Assess resource needs for projects and coordinate with management to allocate appropriate personnel and expertise
Monitor team performance and provide coaching and support to enhance team capabilities and effectiveness
Develop and implement integration strategies that align with business objectives and technical requirements
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of solutions with existing systems and processes
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Bachelor degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology ( Including Electronics & Communication, Electrical & Electronics, Electrical , Mechanical, Information Technology ), Computer Science or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement.
5+ years of experience delivering full cycle SAP implementation projects as a project, functional, or technical lead with expertise in SAP capabilities in one or more of the SAP value streams: Close-to-Report, Plan-to-Perform, Procure-to-Pay, Order-to-Cash, or Plan-to-Produce
5+ years of experience with Information Technology Program or Project Management in a senior role with emphasis on managing global teams of team size of 20 or more
Capable to travel 10% of the time
