We’re looking for a lean professional to join our Electric Power global team as a Lean 6 Sigma Black Belt at our Griffin, Georgia facility.
Our business focuses on designing and manufacturing custom power solutions, and with our continued growth, we need a strong lean 6 sigma project leader with deep expertise in problem solving and lean methodologies in addition to project leadership. This role is essential to the success of our Griffin operations and the broader North American supply chain, ensuring we meet customer demands efficiently and effectively.
In this role, you will lead, manage, and support projects related to production operations improvements using Lean, Six Sigma and project management methodologies to achieve business goals.
Design and develop a Lean Six Sigma program, including supporting systems and tools, for quality and operations process improvement.
Lead and manage Six Sigma project portfolios to achieve measurable business process improvements.
Provide technical training and guidance for Green Belt professionals on the planning, development and implementation of Six Sigma projects.
Employ Six Sigma methodology into production operations to meet business goals and objectives.
What You Have (Basic Skills Required):
Knowledge of problem solving approaches, tools, and techniques to recognize, anticipate, and resolve organizational, operational, or process issues.
Ability to clearly identify and document problems, assess stakeholder perspectives, and develop viable resolution alternatives.
Demonstrated capability to evaluate the accuracy, relevance, risks, and benefits of alternative approaches using factfinding and diagnostic tools.
Applies sound judgment and structured analysis to support decision making and drive effective problem resolution.
Demonstrated ability to evaluate product quality and production methods with a sustained focus on continuous improvement of processes, products, and services.
Ability to define critical workflows, identify process gaps, and diagnose performance limiting issues.
Experience implementing process improvements and establishing controls to sustain gains and improve efficiency.
Capable of prioritizing high impact issues and surfacing systemic problems for broader organizational resolution.
Knowledge of effective project management strategies and tactics to plan, organize, monitor, and control projects to achieve defined objectives.
Ability to identify appropriate project management tools, requirements, and resources within own function.
Understanding of key project elements, including objectives, phases, activities, tasks, deliverables, and critical paths.
Demonstrates ability to apply foundational project management concepts to support successful project execution.
Working knowledge of Six Sigma DMAIC methodology (Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, Control) to improve manufacturing processes and eliminate root causes.
Ability to analyze business priorities and select critical metrics; uses statistical and quality tools (e.g., trend charts, Pareto charts) to measure and assess performance.
Demonstrated capability to research and analyze key drivers impacting quality and customer satisfaction using data driven methods.
Ability to resolve routine process issues in a cost effective manner and report deviations from established process improvements.
Interpersonal Relationships:
Ability to work effectively with a wide range of individuals and groups in a constructive, collaborative manner.
Demonstrates understanding of roles, responsibilities, and alternative points of view to support effective teamwork.

Summary Pay Range:
$112,710.00 - $169,060.00
