Description:You will be the HVAC Technician/Refrigeration Mechanic for the Facilities Services Team. Our team is responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing all company refrigeration and air‑conditioning equipment.
What You Will Be Doing
As the HVAC Technician/Refrigeration Mechanic you will be responsible for ensuring reliable operation of cooling systems across the facility.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Install, maintain, repair, and modify refrigeration, air‑conditioning, and related equipment such as CRAC and Liebert units.
- Utilize refrigeration gauges, recovery/evacuation units, and recover refrigerants into cylinders in compliance with EPA guidelines.
- Troubleshoot malfunctioning equipment, diagnose issues, and perform corrective repairs to restore operation.
- Maintain accurate EPA and Lockheed Martin records, prepare required reports, and follow preventative‑maintenance schedules.
- Order parts and materials as needed and keep the work area, tools, and equipment clean and orderly.

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access.
Basic Qualifications:• High school degree or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of trade school or equivalent
• Universal Technician Certification (EPA requirement to work on type I, II, & III units).
• Due to the full access of the facility that this role would require, all candidates must be U.S. citizens
• Must be able to work on 1st or 2nd shifts as defined by the Collective Bargaining Agreement
Desired Skills:• Four (4) to five (5) years experience in an associated field or discipline.
• Prior experience working on Liebert units
• Prior experience working on CRAC units

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
