Join the ARC Robotics Technology Development team and help keep ARC development labs ready for hands on engineering work. As a Lab Operations Technician, you will support lab setup, maintenance, change requests, shipping and receiving, and day-to-day operational readiness for advanced robotics development activities.

Critical skills needed to support lab readiness, equipment movement, setup coordination, and day-to-day operational support for ARC technology development activities.
Work Arrangement
Primarily onsite. This role requires regular onsite support in ARC lab spaces.
The Role
ARC depends on flexible, well maintained lab environments to support prototype builds, system integration, and validation. These spaces change frequently and require strong ownership to stay organized, functional, and ready for engineering work.
As a Lab Operations Technician, you will own lab setup, maintenance, change coordination, shipping and receiving, and general operational support across ARC development spaces. You will work closely with engineers, facilities, suppliers, and contractors to keep labs organized, configured correctly, and ready for use.
What You Will Do
• Support lab setup, reconfiguration, and day to day readiness for engineering activities
• Coordinate and implement lab change requests, equipment moves, and space preparation tasks
• Support shipping and receiving, material flow, package tracking, and delivery coordination
• Maintain lab organization, inventory accuracy, storage areas, and general housekeeping
• Assist with equipment placement, work area setup, and readiness for builds and testing
• Track lab issues, maintenance needs, and follow up actions
• Work with engineering, facilities, and vendors to support lab operations efficiently
• Help maintain clear records related to incoming materials, equipment movement, and lab changes
Your Skills and Abilities
• Associate’s degree, technical training, or equivalent experience in lab operations, maintenance, logistics, or related field
• Experience supporting labs, shops, technical workspaces, or manufacturing support environments
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to coordinate multiple requests and shifting priorities
• Basic mechanical aptitude and comfort working around technical equipment
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to support physical movement of materials and equipment safely
