Responsibilities
- Assemble components accurately on the production line using hand tools and power tools, following detailed work instructions.
- Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely to move materials and finished products within the manufacturing facility.
- Conduct mechanical inspections of parts and assemblies to ensure quality standards are met throughout the manufacturing process.
- Use assembly line techniques to streamline production, identify issues early, and support continuous improvement efforts.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols at all times to prevent accidents or injuries.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily production goals while maintaining high-quality output.
- Assist in inventory management by tracking parts and supplies used during assembly, ensuring proper stock levels are maintained.
Qualifications
- Prior factory or manufacturing facility experience is highly preferred, demonstrating familiarity with assembly processes.
- Mechanical knowledge or experience working with hand tools, power tools, and assembly equipment is essential.
- Warehouse experience, including operating forklifts safely and efficiently, is a strong plus.
- Ability to follow detailed instructions accurately while maintaining focus in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong teamwork skills with excellent communication abilities to coordinate effectively with colleagues.
