JLL is currently seeking a dynamic individual for the role ofData CenterElectrical Commissioning (Cx) Engineerlocatedin theTorontometro areato provide reliable,timely, efficient support to ourData Center / Mission Criticalteam.
Thisposition entails working with a diverse group of internal and externalstakeholders at all levels of theprojectorganization, and requiresindependentjudgement to plan, prioritize, and organize a diverse workload in a fast-paced environment. Thesuccessful candidate will bedetail-orientedwith strong organizationalskills andpossessa teamplayerattitude.
Youwillbe responsible forcarrying out the following duties specific to your position:
Expertiseindata centerelectrical equipment/systemsfactory testing,installationquality(means & methods),equipment andsystem startup and pre-functional inspections,functionalacceptancetestingand associated commissioning activities.
Experience workingdirectly with General Contractors,sub-contractors, inspectors, AHJs, and others involved with the QA/QCand Commissioningprogram execution for critical facility construction and commissioning.
Strongtechnicalmanagementskillsthroughout the design, pre-construction, construction, and post-construction phases of projects.
Implement and execute electrical and EPMS QA/QC inspections oncomplexcommissioning projects including developing inspection and commissioningchecklists, test scripts and procedures, and other required documentation required by the Owner’s and/or General Contractor’s QA/QC program.
Proficiencyin use of QA/QC andCxsoftware applications such as BIM360,CxAlloy, Facility Grid, and other related QA/QC andCxapplications.
Ability to use electrical testing meters and equipment and analyze and report on test results including Power Quality Meters (PQM), thermography, NETA tests, ground tests, hi-pot, megger, etc.
Estimated compensation for this position:
89,000.00 – 130,000.00 CAD per year
This range is an estimate and actual compensation may differ. Final compensation packages are determined by various considerations including but not limited to candidate qualifications, location, market conditions, and internal considerations.
