Role Definition
Develops, overseas, and strives to maximize the efficiency of the targeted logistics, inventory management, warehousing, distribution and/or transportation networks necessary to provide end-to-end supply chains, coordinate inbound/outbound shipments; this role will be responsible for three manufacturing plants and a warehouse.
Responsibilities
- Designing and optimizing logistics plans and targeted processes to meet supply chain demands and ensure customer satisfaction. Analyze logistics data and performance metrics to identify and implement improvements.
- Managing a team of staff to evaluate and implement logistics programs and activities in compliance with related regulations for an organization.
- Developing mechanisms and metrics to monitor and forecast costs, savings and performance for targeted transportation modes.
- Inventory & Warehousing: Manage inventory levels, ensure stock accuracy, and organize warehouse storage space.
- Shipment Management: Plan and coordinate inbound and outbound shipments, monitoring transportation to ensure efficiency.
- Team Leadership: Supervise logistics personnel, setting performance expectations and conducting training.
- Compliance & Safety: Ensure compliance with safety standards and transportation regulations (e.g., DOT, OSHA)
- ASCM Certification Logistics Transportation and Distribution (CLTD) highly desired.
Degree Requirement
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Engineering or related fields
- Advanced English

- Contributes to the development of process flows that monitor lead time for individual activities.
- Utilizes forecasting tools, with supervision, to estimate delivery timelines, determine costs, and assess logistics performance.
- Maintains comprehensive records of shipments and invoices in accordance with established protocols.
Planning and Organizing:
- Raises awareness of potential scheduling bottlenecks and disruptions.
- Break down tasks into actionable steps for inclusion in personal work plans.
- Escalates issues involving competing or conflicting priorities as appropriate.
Project Management:
- Provides input for project tracking tools such as Gantt or PERT charts.
- Plans and estimates simple projects under supervision.
- Assists in preparing detailed project plans encompassing cost, schedule, and resource needs.
Supply Chain Management – Manufacturing:
- Discusses considerations involved in integrating partner and supplier transactions.
- Identifies software systems and components used in supply chain management.
- Summarizes supply chain factors for various products or components.
Top Candidates also have:
- MBA, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Systems, Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement or related to the field
- Certification in 6 Sigma Black Belt
- Demonstrate excellent oral and written communications skills.
- Excellent interpersonal communication and leadership skills.
- Advanced knowledge in the Digital Tools MS OFFICE 365 (Power Apps, Automate, Power BI, Data Analytics)
- Certification in APICS, CPIM, Supply Chain Professional
Additional Information:
- Location: Cienega de Flores, Nuevo León Facility.
- This position is five-day a week in-office model.
- This position will require travelling up to 10% of working time (Domestic and International).
