Director Global Marketing Immunology
It is an exciting time to join our company's Immunology Team and our growing Global Pharmaceuticals Human Health Team as we aspire to become the trusted leader in delivering novel solutions to transform the standard of care for Immune-Mediated Diseases. The Immunology portfolio is a top corporate priority for our company's and will be a key growth driver for our company. The Director, Global IBD Portfolio and Growth Strategy is responsible for informing commercial prioritization of our company's IBD pipeline and product development priorities for pre-clinical and clinical-stage assets within the immunology portfolio. This role will ensure that IBD clinical development priorities are well aligned to key unmet needs within the existing treatment landscape rooted on a deep understanding of both the current treatment landscape in IBD and how it is expected to evolve over time. Additional responsibilities will include identifying and prioritizing cross-functional efforts to advocate for advances in external IBD treatment practice to include broader market adoption of STRIDE II guidelines and top-down (advanced-therapy first) treatment approaches for IBD. The Director will partner cross-functionally with the immunology early clinical development commercial lead, the IBD global marketing team and key members of our IBD product development teams to both establish commercial positioning of our IBD pipeline assets while prioritizing advancing IBD clinical practice ahead of the launch of Tulisokibart, our lead asset in IBD.
Key Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To:
Pipeline and product development
- Commercial lead for MK-8690 a novel anti-CD30 Ligand for treatment of IBD
- Provide commercial input for relevant IBD discovery and early-stage clinical programs
- As a member of the global IBD marketing team, ensure IBD pipeline strategy is complimentary to lead asset (TL1A-inhibitor) market positioning
IBD market growth
- Develop roadmap for prioritized early launch markets to establish broader adoption of treat-to-target (STRIDE II) guidelines in clinical practice
- Assess and recommend priorities utilizing an evidence-based approach to support top-down vs step-up treatment approaches in IBD (UC&CD) in partnership with UC and HCD global HCP leads as well as internal medical and external scientific leaders
IBD Internal and External Communications
- Primary commercial contact for internal and external communications planning for IBD portfolio
Stakeholder Collaboration
- Partner with cross-functional global teams (clinical, medical, market access, commercial) to ensure IBD pipeline strategies are well informed based on market and future treatment evolution
- Partner across the global IBD marketing team as a thought partner to not only advance the IBD pipeline but also support the successful launch of Tulisokibart (TL1A-inhibitor)
Education:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent (BA/BS). Advanced degree preferred (MBA, MPH)
Requirements:
- Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience across marketing, sales, market access (or related experiences) in pharmaceutical or biotechnology industries.
- 2+ years experience in immunology, ideally with direct IBD experience·
- Strong knowledge of international healthcare systems, current IBD treatment practice and external changes in policy and/or access environments that may impact future treatment decisions.
- Ability to balance strategic thinking with operational excellence.
- Strong analytical mindset with proven experience using data to drive decision-making.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Previous immunology marketing and/or commercial development experience
- Experience with global product launches

Location: Rahway, NJ – Hybrid working model / Other locations considered based on candidate profiles.

U.S. Hybrid Work Model

The salary range for this role is
$190,800.00 - $300,300.00
This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. An employee’s position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, government requirements, and business or organizational needs.
The successful candidate will be eligible for annual bonus and long-term incentive, if applicable.
