The Cybersecurity team is seeking an IT Analyst to join our Data Protection team. In this role you will have the opportunity to use analytics and automation to help protect against cybersecurity threats. You will be part of a dynamic team, working and interacting with other groups across Cybersecurity and Enterprise IT.
This person will be responsible for implementing, configuring, maintaining, troubleshooting, and improving all technical aspects of Caterpillar’s Data Loss Prevention (DLP) solutions. They will be expected to work with internal process partners to ensure DLP meets their various use cases and work with solution vendors to resolve technical issues in a timely manner.
What You Will Do:
- Serve as the infrastructure expert for our DLP cybersecurity tools
- Work with internal process partners to ensure Caterpillar’s enterprise DLP solutions are technically optimized and function as intended.
- Collaborate with internal Caterpillar process partners to design, deploy, support, and retire our infrastructure components
- Work with Cybersecurity leadership to optimize the value Caterpillar is receiving from its DLP-related investments.
- Partner with team members to improve Caterpillar’s security posture and enterprise-wide cyber knowledge
- Perform technology migrations between multiple data protection solutions.
- Ensure Caterpillar’s DLP program remains fully compliance with all applicable laws and regulations
What You Have:
Consulting: Knowledge of techniques, roles, and responsibilities in providing technical or business guidance to clients, both internal and external; ability to apply consulting knowledge appropriately.
Cybersecurity Standards and Policies: Knowledge of developing cybersecurity policies, standards, and procedures; ability to develop and communicate policies, standards and procedures that guide interactions with customers.
Cybersecurity Risk Management: Knowledge of tools, techniques, approaches, and processes of cybersecurity risk management; ability to ensure organizational network operation and minimize negative effect by cybersecurity risks.
Information Security Management: Knowledge of the processes, tools, and techniques of information security management; ability to deploy and monitor information security systems, while detecting, controlling, and preventing violations of IT security.
Information Technology Security Policies: Knowledge of IT security policies, standards, and procedures; ability to utilize a variety of administrative skill sets and technical knowledge to ensure cyber security compliance.
Requirements Analysis: Knowledge of tools, methods, and techniques of requirement analysis; ability to elicit, analyze and record required business functionality and non-functionality requirements to ensure the success of a system or software development project.
Top Candidates will Have:
- Education / Experience: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience
- Experience configuring/supporting Windows and Linux servers
- Experience managing applications on Windows and Linux servers
- Experience scripting with technologies like PowerShell, Python, REST APIs, Graph API
- Experience in cybersecurity
- Technical Certifications: SANS, or ICS2 Certifications

- The primary location for this position is East Peoria, IL Irving, TX, or Nashville, TN.

Summary Pay Range:
$81,370.00 - $122,060.00
