Caterpillar’s BCP division is hiring for Senior Performance and Integration Engineer in Sanford, NC or Clayton, NC (CMDC).
Role Summary: This role provides technical and project leadership for the performance and integration of CTL, SSL, and CUL machine and Work Tool systems. The position leads complex, cross‑functional initiatives by building strong collaborative relationships across Product, Engineering, Software, and Manufacturing teams. With ownership of system‑level requirements, analysis, tuning, and validation, this role ensures the delivery of high‑quality, customer‑focused solutions.
What You’ll Do (Job Duties)
Develop, productionize, and support best‑in‑class machine performance and system integration through close collaboration with Product Engineering, Commercial, Engineering Systems, and Software teams.
Deliver timely, high‑quality requirements, analysis, and tuning that impact products and processes, providing clear data‑driven recommendations to stakeholders.
What You Have (Core Skills)
Process Management: Knowledge of business process improvement tools and techniques; ability to understand, monitor, update, control, or enhance existing business or work processes.
Problem Solving: Knowledge of approaches, tools, techniques for recognizing, anticipating, and resolving organizational, operational or process problems; ability to apply knowledge of problem solving appropriately to diverse situations.
Project Management: Knowledge of effective project management strategies and tactics; ability to plan, organize, monitor, and control projects, ensuring efficient utilization of technical and administrative resources to achieve project objectives.
Top Candidates Will Also Have
Proven experience developing, integrating, and supporting complex machine or vehicle systems, with system level ownership of requirements, performance, and functional interactions.
Summary Pay Range:
$147,760.00 - $221,640.00
