Job Title
Military Pathways - Technology Analyst Program
What does a successful Military Pathways – Technology Analyst do at Fiserv?
The Military Pathways – Technology Analyst Program is intentionally designed for members of the military community who are transitioning from active duty, continuing service in the National Guard or Reserve, or supporting the mission as a military spouse. This early‑career development program provides a structured, supportive environment where participants complete two 12‑month rotational assignments over a two‑year period, allowing them to translate military training, discipline, and problem‑solving skills into a civilian technology career.
Participants will have the opportunity to contribute to real‑world technology initiatives by coding, programming, testing, and analyzing application software, working with complex data sets, or supporting technology projects that enable critical business solutions. The program emphasizes hands‑on learning, accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement—values deeply aligned with military service.
The program foundation includes diverse rotational assignments, on‑the‑job technical training, mentorship from experienced professionals, and exposure to senior leadership. These elements are designed to support your transition, build confidence in a corporate environment, and prepare you for long‑term career growth at Fiserv upon program completion. Analyst rotations will begin June 22nd, 2026.
What you will do:
- Work as part of a mission‑focused team to develop high‑quality technology solutions for internal and external partners.
- Design and document moderately sophisticated technical requirements that support business‑critical applications.
- Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to identify requirements, solve problems, and deliver results—leveraging teamwork, adaptability, and accountability developed through military service.
What you will need to have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Management Information Systems, Cybersecurity, Technical Project Management, or a related technology field with a 3.0+ GPA.
- Unrestricted work authorization; no future sponsorship required.
- Recently separated from military service, currently serving in the National Guard or Reserve, or a military spouse.
- 4-8 years of military service, with no more than 10 years.
- 0–2 years of civilian professional work experience.
What would be great to have:
- Familiarity with technologies such as .NET, JCL, Java, JavaScript, Python, R, SQL, COBOL, Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools.
- Application or software development experience gained through military training, coursework, internships, or hands‑on projects.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to clearly document requirements and brief technical information.
- Detail‑oriented mindset with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
- Experience using Excel and PowerPoint, along with the technical aptitude and adaptability to quickly learn new systems and tools.
