The Sr. Financial Analyst – Global Transformation MT Transcend will provide financial analysis, reporting, and business partnering support to the Senior Financial Controller and the Finance Managers. The role is critical in ensuring accurate financial planning, controllership, and operational excellence across the Transcend program. The Analyst will collaborate closely with FP&A, Strategic Planning and Project Operations, business partners, and functional budget owners to support financial processes and deliver insights that drive decision-making and accountability.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Planning & Controllership
• Support financial planning cycles, including forecast, budget, and long-range plan submissions, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
Intercompany management and knowledge.
• Maintain detailed tracking of project expenditures, headcount, and commitments, ensuring compliance with financial controls and policies.
• Perform variance analyses (actual vs. budget/forecast) and provide clear commentary and insights to management and budget owners.
• Ensure integrity of financial data and work proactively to resolve discrepancies and streamline financial processes.
Business Partnering & Insights
• Partner with Finance Managers, FP&A, and business leaders to deliver high-quality analysis and insights that inform strategic and operational decisions.
• Prepare materials for financial reviews and management presentations, translating complex data into clear and concise messages.
• Provide proactive financial support to budget owners, helping them understand key cost drivers, risks, and opportunities.
• Contribute to scenario analyses and ad-hoc financial modeling as needed to support business cases and planning cycles.
Reporting & Compliance
• Support month-end and quarter-end closing processes, ensuring accurate cost allocation and reporting for Transcend program activities.
• Partner with the Controlling team to ensure adherence to Johnson & Johnson accounting policies, compliance standards, and internal controls.
• Assist in preparation of standard and ad-hoc financial reports, ensuring consistency and transparency in program reporting.
Collaboration & Continuous Improvement
• Collaborate closely with the Senior Financial Controller, Finance Managers, the finance director, and Strategic Planning and Project Operations teams to ensure financial alignment across workstreams.
• Contribute to standardization and process improvement initiatives within Transcend financial management and reporting.
• Build strong partnerships with cross-functional stakeholders across Supply Chain, Commercial, R&D, Quality, and Enterprise functions.
Development and Exposure
The role offers exposure to a global transformation initiative and direct visibility to senior finance and business leadership. The Sr. Financial Analyst will gain hands-on experience in project finance, business partnering, and transformation analysis, developing skills for future growth within Johnson & Johnson Finance. These roles provide an excellent platform to deepen expertise in financial planning, reporting, and stakeholder management in a dynamic, high-impact environment.
Qualifications
• University Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional accounting qualification (or in progress) preferred.
• Minimum of 4–6 years of relevant experience in FP&A, project finance, or financial analysis roles.
• Experience supporting complex or transformational programs is a plus.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to synthesize large amounts of data into actionable insights.
• High attention to detail with strong organizational and prioritization skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with cross-functional teams.
• Proficiency with ERP and reporting tools (SAP, TM1, Excel, and Power BI preferred).
• Demonstrated ability to operate independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan.
